Swedish DJ/producer Salvatore Ganacci’s new track “Dive” has already hit 3.3 million streams on Spotify following support from Skrillex, Major Lazer, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Diplo. Building from an atmospheric sample of Enya’s “Boadicea,” Ganacci builds a chilled trap-infused track which is topped by Alex Aris’ soulful vocals. The beatsmith formally known as Sean Kongery is back. This time, the LA up and comer teams up with fellow Cali-vocalist Elias to create a smooth, soothing -I have just coined the word smoothing as an adjective for this song- ballad. In-house video team, Lake Effect Films, has yet again out done himself and absolutely blows me away with the story he managed to create behind the song.
Sean is soon to be at the key player in pop production, so it’ll be exciting to see the future singles as well as placements he’ll be getting these next couple months. For the time being, enjoy the song and video!
Also, the sampling of “Mr. Sandman” in the first few seconds of the visual is a fantastic touch.
Electro, Trap | Krewella – Live For The Night (Sean Kongery & Klavay Remix)

Since it’s been a while since I’ve heard any attention-grabbing trap remixes, I figured Sean Kongery and Klavay’s would be a nice little re-introduction. The producer duo teamed up to tackle Krewella’s esteemed “Live For The Night”, a single off of their forthcoming album Get Wet. Sean and Klavay added some pretty massive drops jam packed with alien-sounding synths and chopped vocals.
The original is without a doubt difficult to remix because of it’s intricacy and distinct sound, however, the pair made it work and put a nice new spin on it.

Big Sean teams up with Mac Miller on this Drumma Boy produced duet. This a collaboration I’ve been waiting to hear. According to Big Sean they have been homies for some time (as seen in the tweet below), but finally got the opportunity to put something together and this was the result. He’s been a busy man lately working on multiple projects such as the G.O.O.D Music collective album Cruel Summer, and his sophomore album Sean. Be on the lookout for those when they hit the shelves!
