Ian Carey always pulls through with absurd remixes
Tinchy Stryder – In My System (Ian Carey Remix)
Slowing it down a bit here to give ya some melodic heat
Lime – I Got A Feeling (Andi Vax Remix)
Takes a minute to get serious, but when it does….
Tiesto Feat. Sean Kingston & Three Six Mafia – Feel it (Dirty Midget Remix)
Techno-fied version of this classic
The Eagles – Hotel California 2k10 (N-H Project Impact Radio Remix)
Different sound than I normally post, kind of dance floor rap-reggae
Ravergizer Meets DJ Happyhour – Move that Body (Remix Edit)

Dubstep, Hip-Hop, Techno | New Sam Adams Leak

Posted by on July 6, 2010

Our dubstep fans will absolutely love this 2 min verse. Sam goes in hard over the Rusko track Woo Boost to produce a completely singular vibe. It’s always difficult for me to add rap verses to this type of music in my head, but Sams renditions always seem to work out flawlessly. Hopefully Boston’s boy laid down a few other beats like the one posted below (and the one in the vid above) during his recent trip to London. Support Sam by picking up a hardcopy of his Boston’s Boy EP

MUST DOWNLOAD: Sam Adams – I Got ‘Em Like (Verse)

Let the summer Reggae, Rock, and Indie vibe enter your bloodstream by taking a few shots of these tracks. As always drink in moderation, these will definitely make you feel good but may render you completely useless and lazy if abused.

I’m aware that I already included some “previously posted” tracks below, but this specific song didn’t receive enough credit. It’s another one of my summer anthems.
Previous Must Download: Major Lazer – Good Enough feat. Collie Buddz and Lindi Ortega Filthy

Who said indie electro dance beats couldn’t provoke a natural high?
Must Download: Ocelot – Beating Hearts (Louis La Roche remix)

Try this equation: Impressive oldies style vocals + rap verses = Dope
Must Download: Sum-in-1 – Anywhere (feat. Noah Lowman)

If you couldnt tell, I’m a huge Collie Buddz fan. Here are a few of his songs that came out this year.
Download: Collie Buddz – Confessions Of Love (Remix) feat. Alaine & Erick Right
Download: Collie Buddz – Phonecall (K-Salaam & Beatnick Production)
Download: Collie Buddz – Come Down

In case you missed these tracks a few weeks ago, here’s a second chance to get your ears on them. Trust me, you dont want to pass these up; they’re always on deck for me.
Previous Must Download: Collie Buddz – She Gimme Love (Paradise Riddim)
Previous Must Download: Collie Buddz – Tear drop (Dark Cloud Riddim)

DO SOMETHING

Mixtapes | The Higher Concept

Posted by on June 6, 2010

Considering it’s the theme song to the HBO series How To Make It In America, many of you may recognize THC’s previously posted hit titled “I Need A Dollar (Remix)”. The catchy hook backed by a consistent bass-line compliments THC’s flow quite well, something which seems to be a recurrent theme in his music. Both of the tracks below, which incidentally are off of the free mixtape, bring a similar vibe to your speakers. I’m loving “Rise and Fall”; it sounds like a Red Hot Chili Pepper jam with a few rap verses thrown in the mix.

MUST DOWNLOAD: The Higher Concept – Rise and Fall ft. Nation, Snow (prod. by Tekst and Contraband)
Download: The Higher Concept – So High ft. Amerika (prod. by Mike Cash)
Previously: The Higher Concept – I Need A Dollar Remix

If you ask me, Washington, D.C. is in need of a young rap superstar. I don’t know about you, but… Pico C > Wale. That’s just me though. For more information on Washington’s potential savior, check him out here.

Mixtapes | Nappy University Mixtape

The fact that Nappy Root tracks (for the most part) differ from the typical mainstream hip-hop or rap sound puts them ahead of the game and at the top of my favorites list. Unfortunately, with this mixtape that dropped yesterday, they seem to deviate from their “country ways” and offer a less authentic, more “hood” vibe. Nonetheless, I did find three solid tracks that any Nappy fan should download and have posted them below. Download the full mixtape here.

Download: Nappy Roots – Wut You Heard ft. Three 6 Mafia & Akon
Download: Nappy Roots – Better Days ft. Goapele
Download: Nappy Roots – Motivation ft. Bobby Creekwater
