Here’s a straigghttt hit from beastly producer J.R. Rotem (who produces nothing but straight fire). The beat is a rip of Axel F from Beverly Hills Cop…like this if you would have known that without me mentioning that, it’s a classic. All I can say is enjoy this one before it’s played out on the radio.

This controversy is old news, but with what looks like a soon to be official release of this track, here’s a brief explanation of what happened. Flo-Rida dropped a song featuring him rapping over Avicii’s “Levels” or “ID” which left people confused to say the least. Had everyone’s favorite new comer Avicii already sold out? Did Flo-Rida see the rising potential and amazing melodies found in Avicii and decide to seize the opportunity before someone else did? Thankfully, Avicii hadn’t sold out and Flo-Rida had used the track without permission. To take control of the situation, Avicii took matters to Twitter. He fired back with a few different tweets explaining that he did not in fact give Flo-Rida permission to use the track and there was not a collaboration in the works.
However, this snippet of Flo-Rida & Taio Cruz just leaked which features the same key as Avicii’s “Levels/ID” with different synths, but fades into Avicii’s track at one point. The transition is awful which is clearly why this is a snippet and still not the final cut, but it leaves the possibility of them sampling Avicii’s track. Hopefully before the song is officially released they’ve figured out the instrumental or cleared things with Avicii’s camp this time, unlike the Leona Lewis case.
Regardless looks like we’ve got a huggeee radio banger in the works from two of the premier hit makers, Flo-Rida & Taio Cruz.

This was ripped straight from one of Guetta’s sets…we’ll have the final cut up once it drops. Exactly what you’d expect from a Guetta x Usher combo, a straight radio hit. If you’re one of the few sallys who listen to the radio, I suggest downloading this in a month so you don’t run your car off the road after hearing it 400 times on the radio. Usher provides the typical sing along lyrics that biglife and all the girls will be singing along to and Guetta comes through with that upbeat dancey instrumental the industry demands today. Look out for all of the remixes that will be dropping shortly, perfect vocals for all of these young creative DJ’s to turn this track into straight gold.

I like what Bassnectar is doing right now. To build up “Divergent Spectrum” (Drops August 2nd), he releases one radio edit a week. Which makes me even more impatient for the EP. This new radio edit is much better than “Upside Down,” it has really got me moving.

Its the 4th of July, so raise your glasses for America. This first song is an absolute bomb from Arty on Anjunabeats. It evolves as you move through the song and only gets better so listen to the whole thing. The radio edit is also out for those who just want the middle.

R3hab gives us two great remixes to some awesome songs. Koko is a must have on its own and R3hab only adds to it making it a little heavier with some extra synths and a more progressive feel. With his champagne showers remix he gets back to some dutch and throws in some dutch infused drops that make you want to rage.

The original version of this track most likely took over a radio station near you during the past month or so. Fortunately for lovers of the first release, Fabolous, Busta Rhymes, and Trey Songz flipped the track a little to give it a refreshing face lift. Although none of them murder their verse as well as Lil Wayne, some people might be partial to this new release because it features more rapping and less Kelly Rowland.
