Didrick is unstoppable, and today he blesses us with a remix of his labelmate iSHi’s latest release “Push It” featuring Pusha T, layering uplifting chords and melody over the hard hitting tune. It’s not every day a progressive house remix does justice to a trap tune, matter of fact, I don’t know when’s the last time I’ve heard a trap record get the big room, progressive house treatment, but I’m glad this one did, it’s going to take “Push It” to a whole new audience, so kids educate yourself, this is a must listen and a must download!

Hip-Hop, Rap | Justin Timberlake – TKO (Remix) [J.Cole, A$AP Rocky, Pusha T]

If you missed it a few days back, the Justin Timberlake “TKO” remix is one for the ages. Featuring three of the hottest young emcees (young of course being used relatively as Pusha T is 36) the song puts a more “hood” spin on the original JT Experience track. In my personal and professional opinion I like J. Cole’s verse the best, and no, not just because he responded to Kendrick. Cole’s wordplay and idiom game was on another level and I suggest you guys check out the full annotations over on Rap Genius.

Hip-Hop, Rap | Pusha T – Sweet Serenade (ft. Chris Brown)

pushat sweet serenade

Here we have some brand new Pusha T, courtesy of his Soundcloud. Featuring Chris Brown, this song definitely has some radio potential. Both Chris and Pusha are Virginia natives, making the collaboration come naturally. Pusha’s new album My Name Is My Name will be in stores October, and “Sweet Serenade” definitely gives us some reason to look forward to it.

The song has a “ride-around” vibe and the full choir vocals used in the instrumental give the song an almost eery sound. Take a listen to the song below and for an in-depth look at what Pusha T is saying, check out the lyric breakdown on Rap Genius, here.

Hip-Hop | Eminem, Lil Wayne, Lloyd Banks | Hip-Hop

Billboard recently sat down with the Grammy nominee, Drake, for a quick interview. He is up for four nominations this year, including Best New Artist, but on account of the fact that he’s going up against Justin Bieber, I don’t know how good his chances are. Also keep an eye out for his performance with Rihanna this Sunday, as well as a performance from Dr. Dre and Eminem. Below is a newer version of a song that Eminem released a while ago under the name Difficult. This version includes a new hook from Obie Trice.

I don’t understand why Wanye would spit a 20 second verse and call it a remix, but check this out regardless.
