It’s been a minute since we’ve gotten a solo track from Hendersin. Well turns out he is hard at work on his upcoming project, I.F.L.Y. Personally, I think this is one of Hendersin’s best tracks to date and bodes really well for whats in store.

Electro, Mixtapes | Silver Medallion – No One Ever Really Dies (Mixtape)

The above video serves as a good preview of what to expect from Silver Medallion’s latest project titled No One Ever Really Dies, an electro-infused mixtape presented by the one and only DJ Benzi. The project includes some banging new tracks as well as some hot new remixes of previous Silver Medallion classics. It also shows what to expect from Silver Medallion in the future. “All I Ask” is only a preview for now but will be released in the near future with a feature from Shwayze, which will surely be dope. I am also digging the preview of the DJ Dstar produced joint “Stars” that will be released as a single in future as well. My favorite songs of the mixtape include “Live Forever”, “My Dream” and “Lost Ones”. This one is definitely worth adding to your music collection.

Hip-Hop | King Fantastic – Locals Only

You got good taste of what Troublemaker can bring to the table with his latest Pantystep mix and I thought I should introduce you to his other project, King Fantastic, with Killer Reese One. I was first introduced to the duo with the NSFW music video for their single “Why? Where? What?” featuring the beautiful Kristina Rose (watch it here) and have been hooked ever since. There is just something about hardcore gangster rap over Troublemaker’s wobbly beats that keeps me wanting more King Fantastic. “Locals Only” is the first leak off their upcoming Death of Summer EP due out August 30th.

Not sure if I believe the “freestyle” claims at the the beginning of the track, but Dubby has put together a solid track nonetheless. Look out for his upcoming project “tha Leak” which will be a 10 song EP.

Last week Hoodie Allen gave us a preview of “Leap Year” with the release of the single “The Chase is On.” Well now that I’ve had a chance to listen to the whole project, it’s safe to say that “The Chase is On” was just the tip of the iceberg…this mixtape is chuck full of awesome new school hip hop. We have known of this project that has been rumored to be Porter Robinson and Skrillex, but most signs point to this being the new name of Pance Party. It has been so secret that it almost seemed too good to be true. Their twitter is private, their facebook gives little to no information and everything about this project has been shrouded in speculation and secrecy. The album preview is absolutely absurd and though the video has been out a while, you can see why people have wanted them to start releasing songs. I don’t know how they kept wraps on this but this song is fire. This song is a great debut for the group and I am excited for what is to come from them.
