Posted by Juicebox on September 7, 2013
Just as I was growing tired of the original (#1 on Beatport), this guy NYMZ puts it on another level. Despite being a fresh face as a solo project, I found out this kid is 1/2 of Milo & Otis (Killagraham & NYMZ). Expect big things…

Dubstep, Electro, Trance | Seven Lions with Myon & Shane 54 Ft. Tove Lo – Strangers
Posted by J-Tiffy on August 25, 2013
Seven Lions fans, rejoice! My eyes light up whenever I see Seven Lions’ name, and if you’re like me, you’ll be itching to dig into this tune if you haven’t already. He tackles this project with vocalist Tove Lo and house/trance production duo Myon and Shane 54. The song is part of the original motion picture soundtrack for Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. It is an immensely ambitious track, even for a revolutionary artist like Seven Lions. Not only does it combine his signature cocktail of trance and dubstep, but we can hear a lot of house elements in the mix and, more interestingly, a heavy reliance on a gnarly minimal electro drop.
Ambient, Chill, RnB | Atlantic Connection – Astronomy EP
Posted by J-Tiffy on August 22, 2013
Atlantic Connection has put together an EP of great songs of is and has released it as a free download. The EP contains 5 songs that range from chill R&B/Hip-Hop beats, to extremely chill ambient jams. His music is soulful and puts out all around feel good vibes. The project showcases his production strength and range, as well as being an entertaining listen. Fans of Grimblee, MiMoSA or the like should eat this up, but I highly recommend that regardless of your musical taste you at least give the 10 minute sampler of the EP (below) a listen.
Hip-Hop | Wiz Khalifa – Look Into My Eyes
Posted by dshaq on August 21, 2013
Wiz Khalifa dropped this brand new track the other day off of his upcoming project, Blacc Hollywood. A similar Wiz sound, produced by Sledgren (big surprise), Wiz takes the mellow approach to the song giving it a very laid back sound. We haven’t heard from Wiz in a while, and I’m very interested to see how Blacc Hollywood turns out. Sound off in the comments about what your feelings are towards the song.
Hip-Hop, Mixtapes | Beau Young Prince & Kruisemode – Tapestries and Javelins

I know that Juicy J has coined the term “stay trippy,” but I think if anyone other than Taylor Gang’s favorite stoner fit the mold for that motto, it would be Beau Young Prince. BYP is all about spreading positivity and good vibes and it’s really a movement that fans can grapple on to. His latest mixtape, has all of those elements. Tapestires and Javelins gives us a look into the mind of the DMV native and shows us what he has to offer. The result, could not be more impressive. I’ve been following BYP’s career since I started blogging and I believe that this is his best project to date. The project is embedded below, but take a trip to Datpiff to fully download this masterpiece.

Taking the traditional mixtape route, Lv comes together with HipHopEarly’s official DJ, DJ Reddy Rell, to drop the project. With the YouTube remix/cover/rendition lane a popular one in today’s industry, it’s done exactly what it needed to for Lv: solidify his talent and draw attention to his potential. On that note, he is very adamant that his debut album will be an eye opener this fall.
