Preview, Progressive House | Dirty South & Alesso Ft. Ruben Haze – City Of Dreams (Preview)
Posted by Middy on August 19, 2012
Whoa, so this just happened. The official preview for Alesso & Dirty South’s collaboration “City Of Dreams” just dropped with the release date coming in just 8 days. If you follow Alesso & Dirty South on twitter, you know about their jokes at the expense of each other’s mom and sister respectively, so this collaboration was only a matter of time. This will be the anthem of the end of the summer with “Don’t You Worry Child” and will get some serious airtime at festivals like Electric Zoo. Listen to the preview below or the radio rip above from EDC NYC to hold you over until this massive release.
Preview, Progressive House | John Dahlback – Embrace Me (Dirty South Remix)
Posted by Middy on June 18, 2012
The distinguished Dirty South has released his remix of John Dahlback’s “Embrace Me” after premiering it on Phazing Radio #003 to critical praise. Dirty South is one of those producers who takes his time with his productions and does not over release, thus making each one that much more important. He does not miss on his tracks and has another in his arsenal with his collaboration with Alesso “City of Dreams“. “Embrace Me” combines the euphoric synth melodies that Dirty South is so skilled at making with a well crafted build, a strong clap driven bass line and male vocals that fit perfectly into the track. Dirty South has himself another monster to accompany his remix of “Devil’s Work” that is still doing work in sets all across the globe, so do not miss this one.
Progressive House | Miike Snow – Devil’s Work (Dirty South Remix)

Dirty South does it again. He does not make bad tracks, it just does not happen. You will immediately recognize the vocals from Miike Snow and then Dirty South takes over adding a moving piano melody into the build that crescendos into a massive varying 4 chord synth line, a rising synth, steady bass line and well timed stops. Phazing Records is turning into a force with Dirty South’s releases and now his signings of Michael Brun and Special Features. It should be fun to see what comes from Phazing later this year and in 2013.
Dubstep, Preview, Progressive House | Michael Brun – Rise (Preview)

Michael Brun, if you haven’t already found out is super talented and ready break through to the big leagues. With support from the biggest Djs around on his track “Dawn” on Hardwell’s Revealed Records, as well as plenty of other singles and remixes, it was only a matter of time before he got another track released on a major label. “Rise” is set come out on Dirty South’s Phazing Records March 19th, and he will be performing at Dirty South’s Phazing Nights on March 21st during WMC with Pierce Fulton, LA Riots and Norman Doray. During the video Dirty South gives you a tour of his incredibly nice studio, which should be a real treat for you Djs and Producers out there. Also after the jump I added a really chill dubstep track from Glow Dj resident Des McMahon that has some clear jazz influences.
Electro-House, Progressive House | Dirty South & Thomas Gold ft. Kate Elsworth – Eyes Wide Open (Remixes)
Posted by Middy on March 7, 2012
Dirty South’s label “Phazing Records” has released the remix package of his huge single with Thomas Gold and Kate Elsworth “Eyes Wide Open”. Lenno, the young Finnish Dj that Pierce Fulton mentioned would be a guy to watch out for, provides a remix with much of the original melody, while adding a funky, groovy touch to the song that gives it a different vibe and a refreshing change of pace. Felguk sticks to their electro house signature, throwing some heavy electro synths into the drop, while maintaining much of the uplifting melody of the original track. After the jump I included Dirty South’s March mix and the tracklist.
