Bass | Egzod Releases “Rise Up” On Established Label NoCopyrightSounds
Posted by VMan on May 22, 2019
French artist Egzod has doused fans with another colorful bass release, this time breaking from Lowly, a Trap nation sub label, and returning to the initial label that gained him his fanbase, NCS. “Rise Up” features two trending talents, Veronica Bravo and M.I.M.E., the result is tantalizing. A confident, empowering vibe is echoed by a charged bass song structure to form something memorable and fun.
Each artist has their own indie career ongoing involved in this collaboration, each act taking the best parts of their style and incorporating into “Rise Up. The three form a powerful juxtaposition boasting traits that will seemingly stand the test of time.
On top of this, Metapop is running a remix contest of “Lone Wolf” by Egzod sponsored by Native Instruments. If you are a music producer, make sure you check out this remix competition and get a chance to win audio gear from Native Instruments. Egzod, Wasiu, and Lowly Records are the judges of the remix competition and will be selecting the best choice and announcing the winner after the entry period finishes.

Bass | Nurko & Last Heroes Team Up On NoCopyrightSounds Original “Promise Me ft. Jessie Chambers”

A trio of talent have teamed up on a melodic-bass influenced work “Promise Me.” The vocal work of Jessie Chambers, melding naturally to the heavy, almost-melancholy instrumental the original lays down. For Nurko, this single marks his first original on the label, a nice addition to recent achievements like premiere support from established music outlets, millions of plays, and having made his overall debut on the label, NoCopyrightSounds, only weeks earlier via “Egzod – Paper Crowns ft. The Leo The Kind (Nurko Remix).” Last Heroes are long-standing players in the NCS family too, several releases with bass-fueled emotion can be found on their streaming channels – even an Au5 collaboration in the midst of the duo’s roster. Together, Nurko and Last Heroes “Promise Me” strikes a natural balance between all parties, including the fans.
