Kush Kelz is an upcoming New Jersey rapper who recently dropped his EP “I Think The Neighbors Know”. The track has a trickling piano melody that swoons you into the trap with Kush as paranoia sets in and he begins the think the neighbors know what he is up to. A day in the life with the rapper tells it all on this Myles William produced cut. Purchase his new EP from iTunes, it features Jim Jones, Ab-Soul, Key! and Kap G while production is handled by fellow New Jersey cronies Myles William and Dolla Baby.

A progressive house producer I’ve been keeping an eye on Patriot, who you might remember with his epic remix of Angels & Airwaves’ “The Flight Of The Apollo” hit me up with his latest, this time remixing the likes of New Jersey hip-hop duo I.O.U.‘s “Greatest Time Of My Life” off their album The Soul & The Intellect, and he hits the spot with this one! The greatest time of your life should be euphoric. and there’s nothing better than a smooth piano melody, and that progressive house sound to get you there! This is a must listen and make sure you cop that free download!

Hip-Hop | YoAstrum – A Day’s Worth
Posted by admin on January 7, 2014
While perusing my SoundCloud stream I recently stumbled upon an emcee I was previously unacquainted with: YoAstrum. The New Jersey resident caught my attention with his unique voice and ability to lace a Mr. Carmack production with such grace. The instrumental was an absolute gem to begin with, so it was safe to say that I was initially nervous to hear whether or not it was done justice. Thankfully, it was, and thus began my thirst for YoAstrum music.
Keep up on Twitter and let me know what you think of the song. Stay tuned for much more in the near future!
Exclusive, Progressive House | Krewella – We Are One (Sevag Area-201 Remix) [FNT Exclusive]
Posted by Middy on November 25, 2013
Krewella are no stranger to remixes, with their first worldwide smash single “Alive” seeing remixes and edits from just every corner of every genre. Their recent album “Get Wet” provides many more opportunities for over-remixing, however this sea of mediocrity allows certain gems from big and small names alike to stand out.
In steps New Jersey native and Mister East resident Sevag, who adds his own on one of the festival friendly selection from Krewella’s album “We Are One”. Sevag keeps festival friendly feel of the original, making sure to highlight Yasmine and Jahan’s vocals, but adds his own percussive flare to give it more bounce. Grab it for free below and check out his socials for more from him.

Mashups, Progressive House | DOSVEC – Bad Things
Posted by BIGLIFE on June 25, 2013
So the story goes that DOSVEC heard the original song “Bad Things” by Meiko on a Real House Wives of New Jersey commercial and had his people call her people. Her people sent over the A Capella, he mashed it up with Deadmau5 and Meiko personally enjoyed it. Now it is time for all of us to enjoy it.
This track sounds like Deadmau5 sat in the studio with Meiko and created progressive house. The A Capella and Beats intertwine seamlessly and compliment each other very well. Press play and check it yourself, warning very addictive.
Events | Electric Adventure expands to two days, August 3rd & 4th
Posted by Middy on April 24, 2013
After a resounding success last year, one of the more unique festivals on the Eastern seaboard, Electric Adventure, returns for its second edition at Six Flags in Jackson, New Jersey, this time expanding to two days to give revelers more time for the edm / roller coaster action they crave. The match made in heaven of roller coasters and a great lineup, then toss in the obvious mix of drugs and alcohol and you have yourself one of the sleeper US festivals this summer. Since it is two days, I would recommend getting a fast pass to cut the lines because time is money my friends and you don’t want to be that guy standing in line for Superman or Bizarro, while your favorite DJ is shredding and then hearing about it up until Electric Zoo. Get your tickets now before they sell out and the lineup will be announced soon.
