Today Mac released his 6 song On and On and Beyond EP on Itunes. 5 of the songs have already been leaked or released from previous mixtapes, but the one song (Put it On) is worth the purchase.

Two J. Cole posts in one day, damn we’re good. Cole’s album, generally speaking, has been done for a long time now. It should be out next month, however don’t be surprised if there is a delay. I can’t begin to say how hyped I am for this project. J. Cole said that he’s taken the best songs hes ever made, which were intended to be on his mixtapes, and saved them for his debut album, which means that we haven’t even seen his best work. Keep a heads up for more info soon. In the mean time, heres another new track with a Biggie sample from rap’s Messiah.

Hot damn, this is one impressive project. Like I don’t think it’d be out of this world to give this a spot in our top 10 mixtapes for the year. Evidently The Dean’s List has mastered the art of rapping over perfectly produced beats that host some unreal vocals. Hopefully I won’t be the only one who picks up on the advanced spitting techniques these guys are utilizing to keep the songs fresh and professional. I could probably post the entire tape but that’d take the fun out of getting “The Drive In” in its entirety.

Here at FNT were not really about the single posts, but as this is my top 3 favorite songs of this year, I had to do it. I know Drakes easy to hate with his mainstream tracks and new found fame, but trace back to his roots and you’ll see why he’s my favorite artist. Theres a reason after just releasing mixtapes he shot to the top and made it…without a deal. Here’s the original version (it’s way better than the current “final” version) without the tags. Get it.

Say hello to our most recently affiliated artist,The White Panda. Based out of Chicago and Los Angeles, this duo has been killing it over the last year with mashups that mesh so well together, you would have thought God himself mixed them. The last two mixtapes they’ve dropped, “Versus” and “Rematch” have been nothing short of perfect. I’ve been waiting all day for this project to drop. I never get too excited about mixtapes because I sort through so much music everyday. This project, however, has my heartbeat elevated (nh). I know you’ve likely never even heard of this guy. Do yourself a favor, branch out, and download the project. Justice League on the production.

Believe it or not, one year ago, the first song was given to me by a random guy handing out mixtapes in Venice Beach. Today, Bone Thugs bought the rights to the song (ruined it) and re-did it. I still don’t know this artists name so if any of you know it, PLEASE comment and tell me. The other two sample hooks and instrumentals from other songs and are dope. GET ALL OF THESE!
