Mike Stud comes through with a brand new video and song entitled “Athlete” featuring DJ Carnage. The production behind the track sounds similar to Tyga’s “Rack City” or Drake’s “The Motto”, which always is a good thing as those two songs are two of the biggest rap songs of the year. I’ve never heard DJ Carnage rap before but he does impress on this one. Mike Stud kills his verse as expected full of the clever punchlines you have come to expect from him. Jon Kilmer came along with Mike Stud on the last leg of the Toast To Tommy Tour with one mission; capture what tour life is like in a 5-minute video. The results were so boring EPIC. It features concert footage from the NYC and STL shows, the beautiful women who attended, after parties and much more chaos. If you listen at about the 3:07 mark you can hear a preview of Mike’s new song “Athlete” which drops with an official video next week. If you didn’t catch a show on this tour be sure to catch him next time he’s in a city near you.

DOWNLOAD: Mike Stud – A Toast 2 Tommy Tour Singles
There is no doubt that Mike Stud has been on the rise since he released his freshmen mixtape A Toast to Tommy, in the beginning of last October. It achieved great success debuting at #3 on the iTunes hip-hop charts and #66 on the Billboards, sheesh. Afterwards, Mike embarked on his first Nationwide tour that rocked 25 cities in 2 months, selling out the final 6 shows. Along the road he dropped numerous singles and a handful of videos to accompany them. With each song he progressed and tried new things, even taking an attempt at singing on “Is It Worth It” and “Boyfriend”, and it wasn’t too shabby. Overall, the growth and progression of Stud’s movement is something many new artists dream of and hope to achieve.
