Electro, Electro-House | John Dahlback, Cazzette, & Trampboat
Posted by Sev on January 23, 2012
John Dahlback taking his build and up transition game to the next level with this track. Dahlback uses Kirsty Hawkshaw’s vocals in all the right ways here to climax into a dope electro house drop. This is definitely a tune that will get the crowd going no matter what the occasion.

Our favorite Swedes Cazzette cranking out tracks like second nature. Here we go with another dub electro house remix with their signature modern talking “Yo” sound included of course. Let me know if you guys are getting tired of this new energy packed style of electro because I know I’m not. Grab it on Beatport HERE.

Trampboat goes a little bit heavier on the electro in this track then you saw in the first two, but don’t let that discourage you from listening. The use of electro in this track is tasteful enough to keep it from ruining the track and thats what keeps me listening to it over and over. Be sure to check out some of his other material on SOUNDCLOUD.

Dubstep | The Weeknd – D.D. (Samples Remix)

I have been waiting for a sweet remix of new The Weeknd. Didn’t think my favorite remix of D.D. would be a dubstep one, but it doesn’t matter. This remix is sick, at first I was expecting a melodic dubstep bass-line, so I was surprised to hear the semi-filthy drop. Samples did a great job to not over power The Weeknds great vocals when meshing them together with the dubstep. All-in-all, this is a sexy remix.

Dubstep, Hip-Hop | The Glitch Mob – Black Aura Ft. Theophilus London
Posted by Mach on December 2, 2011
Zeds Dead just dropped an unreleased track, why not The Glitch Mob too? I posted Theophilus London last weekend stating we rarely get to post him up, but look at us now. His verses are tight to this sick glitch-hop track. This track of theirs was created back in 2009, but no matter, it is always nice to get something unreleased. Especially a sweet track like this.

Yes, you are seeing that correctly, pun intended.

This track came from a tape that was 99% garbage with one exception, this gem. Luckily I had the tolerance to hear it out, or this wouldn’t be happening. The beauty of not extrapolating any meaning from this song makes for the best feeling.
My ears are always circulating a wide variety of genres, and thank goodness some tracks not yet subjected to one. I’ve never been one to desperately cling a genre to a particular sound, or a description to art for that matter, it’s creepy and control freakish. Art should defy description, not dampen our imagination. It remains as is, why go ahead and try to make sense of it? Ask me, that’s everything art should not be….
Dubstep | Mord Fustang – A New World (Scourge Remix)
Posted by Mach on October 15, 2011
Scourge isn’t exactly a house hold name, but Mord Fustang is. I love the original of this track, it was great hearing it in the Dubstep Cereal Commercial. Tracks that good, the thought of a remix just doesn’t happen. There is just no need for it, but then Scourge dropped this remix and it changed my opinion on the matter.

Electro | Anjulie – Brand New Bitch (Laidback Luke Remix) & (Black Cards Remix)
Posted by Jess on September 20, 2011
Not sure how I feel about Anjulie but I am a sucker for a new Laidback Luke remix, who always seems to make a bangin track no matter what it is. The other remix in the set is by Black Cards, which is interestingly a creation between former Bassist of Fall Out Boy, Pete Wentz, and vocalist Bebe Rexha (who does not appear on the remix).
Dubstep | Excision

Yea, I know, I just s**t my pants too. This video is crazy, not including the fact that “X Rated” is the reason why most of America’s youth will go deaf by age 26. I’m curious why Messinian’s voice sounds just like Xibit on this. Doesn’t matter, track is heavier than the stuff you tell your therapist on tampon tuesdays.
The track below is another new one from Excision. This track is a little more on the chill side, but damn is it sexy. Excision’s new album, “X-Rated” drops Sept. 12th.
