DJ Snake ended the year with a #1 on the iTunes Dance chart with Lil Jon’s “Turn Down For What,” announcing a residency in Las Vegas at Wynn Resorts, and back to back shows in NYC and San Diego to bring in the new year. Not slowing down, and for no reason in particular, today he releases a mash up of Prodigy and Mercer entitled “Breathe (Parisian Vision).” Go into this track with no expectations, the drop is going to be a slap in the face, one like you’ve never heard it before. The homie DJ Prime sent over an invite to his show tomorrow at the newly renovated Starland Ballroom opening for The White Panda, and Cash Cash. It had been a minute that I’d heard from the White Panda and what they’ve been mashing up, and yes they’re still killing the game. Check out this synth heavy mash up they did of Martin Garrix’s “Animals” with Kendrick Lamar’s “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe,” also available for free download. If you’re in Jersey tomorrow I suggest you go check out this show, it should be one hell of a party! Must listen and must download!

The wait is over! Finally we get to get our hands on the long awaited bootleg from Cazzette of Kanye West & Jay Z’s, Ni**az in Paris’. This track was one of the big highlights to this years UMF, being played by almost all the producers and DJ’s attending. These guys were probably one of the main catalyst to the remixes that started flooding through of the track back a few months ago. In today’s electronic world it’s hard to find young up and comers who are making music & DJing the right way & for the right reason. With today’s software and accessibility, everyone from Frodo to Paris Hilton have become a DJ. Download a free trial of a variety of softwares and you’ll be good to go…just hit play, then sync. It’s people like Brian Kramer who are doing it right. Give the kid a pair of Sennheiser headphones, a pair of CDJ’s, and he’s good to go for the next three hours. Brian Kramer sent some bootlegs my way last week and I couldn’t have been happier after previewing them. Currently everyone is trying to take fast paced tracks, mash them with top 40 music, and call it a day. Brian Kramer slowed things down and created something a little deeper and more intricate. Maybe it’s cause I’m a huge sucker for house tracks with female vocals, but all I can say is do yourself a favor and download both of these.

After Buck’s introduction a week ago, he has dropped another sick mashup. ‘Dirty Leto’ is a blend of Archie’s ‘Leto’ instrumental with vocals from ‘Cinema,’ ‘Dirty Talk,’ ‘What Happens In Vegas,’ and ‘Ass Back Home.’ This track really needed some vocals. Going to be honest I was a little nervous when I saw how many different vocals were used, but after listening I realized that this is a top notch mash. Get to know Buck, this wont be last time I believe that we will see him.
