Events | Get Stoked: Ookay x Tropkillaz @ Regency San Francisco, TONIGHT
Posted by Nick on July 11, 2014
Okay, so it’s about that time of the year where work is pretty much at full-tilt and the novelty of it being summer has just about completely worn off. It’s about that time of the year where you have things planned for later, but right now, you’re just kind of sitting on your ass, waiting for an opportunity to let loose and really get down into that summer groove. Well, if you’re from the Bay Area, that opportunity has finally arrived: class-A trap troll Ookay and Brazilian heavy hitters Tropkillaz are hitting up Regency Ballroom this evening.
This show is going to be absolutely nuts. Ookay, a seasoned performer, fresh off the stage at EDC Vegas, will no doubt throw down one of the craziest live sets you’ll see this year. He’s also got a pretty sweet sense of humor that he somehow manages to factor into his sets. My personal favorite was when he trolled an entire venue with “Martin Garrix Had A Farm” – see the video evidence below.
As for Tropkillaz, everyone knows things are just a little more edgy in South America. You can count on something massively twerk-tastic from this Sao Paolo-based duo. It’s a bit NSFW, but if you want to see an example of a Tropkillaz show, go and check it out HERE.
So, before it’s too late (because it will get to that point), go and grab your tickets HERE. It’s time to get wild and say you actually did something this summer.
Progressive House | DubVision – Backlash (Martin Garrix Edit)
Posted by Middy on July 7, 2014
My friend described this track best – preposterous. You can tell Martin Garrix did essentially nothing and does not have the technical production ability to make the mixdown better, so it is largely a marketing stunt. DubVision prove once again why they are among the best at their craft and expect to hear this one a lot this summer.
Progressive House | Sander van Doorn, Martin Garrix, DVBBS – Gold Skies (Sava&Razz Remix)

Remix competitions are wonderful things because they allow us the opportunity to hear tens of remixes of the same song – something people definitely want. Another upside to them is that the winning remixes are often as good or better than the original. I think it would be fair to classify this remix as one of those. Sava & Razz are becoming regulars here on FNT and it’s because they consistently put out great tracks. They have crafted one of the better remixes for Martin Garrix, Sander van Doorn and DVBBS’ “Gold Skies” and they are giving it away for free.

Electro, House | Tchami – Untrue (Extended Preview) + Wizard (Remix)
Posted by dshaq on March 24, 2014
The only way I can even try and describe French producer Tchami’s sound would be: Grimey. Today we have a full preview of his brand new track, Untrue, as well as a fantastic remix to Martin Garrix’s huge track Wizard. If his “future house” genre is the next big thing, I’m all in for it. Tchami is the start of something new and brilliant in the production world and it’s time to pay attention. Peep both tracks below and enjoy!

I can’t lie, I’m not one to hop on the hype train and jump on new releases because it’s from a particular label, or from a particular artist, but this remix by Prince Fox of Martin Garrix’s “Proxy” was the perfect intro to the the 17 year old’s latest release, and I can’t front it’s super dope; moral of the story when Prince Fox sends you a record, you listen! This remix elevates the track to another level, has me thinking when is Garrix going to be calling Prince Fox in for the collab? This is def a must listen and a must download! Start your thirsty Thursday hard!

Mix | Kap Slap – Spring Break Mix 2014

Yep, Kap Slap has graced us with the holy grail, the Margot Robbie (Wolf of Wall Street), the Catalina Wine Mixer of mixes; The Spring Break Mix! The hype all began back in 2012 when Kap Slap released the original Spring Break Mix, which scholars and government officials across the globe are referring to as “the best mix ever.” Unfortunately SoundCloud deleted Kap Slap’s old SoundCloud, but you can still download the original 2012 SB Mix on his Facebook or check it out here. Whether you need something to pump you up in the gym or keep the party going down in Cancun, Kap Slap has you covered with this years Spring Break Mix. Highlight of the mix comes at the end when he mashes “Drunk in Love” with Martin Garrix’s “Animals.”
