Progressive House | Ryan Riback & Terri B – Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow (Marcus Santoro Remix)
Posted by Mel on July 5, 2013
In his admittedly short catalogue of releases so far, Marcus Santoro has already shown that he is a versatile producer capable of creating excellent tracks in a different variety of styles. His latest remix demonstrates this diversity perfectly with the first half being more old school progressive, having a vibe very similar to pre SHM Axwell, and then transitioning to the euphoric, festival sound that he does so well for the second drop. The mainstream sound is definitely there, but he manages to avoid falling into the trap of generic house with tracks like this. How he has not blown up outside of Australia is a mystery to me.

Hip-Hop, RnB | Justin Bieber – ALAYLM (Rendition) by SoMo
Posted by J_Salzer on January 1, 2013
Every week I see a new Joseph SoMo video. And every week I’m left speechless, and if you know me, that is a rare feat. This week, SoMo covers Justin Bieber’s hit song, As Long As You Love Me, and turns it into an emotionally charged, passionate ballad. When Justin Bieber sings it, you can tell it is a commercial, mainstream sound, but when Joseph SoMo sings it, you can feel the true meaning behind the song. Often my opinion on a song changes after hearing a Joseph SoMo cover, in this case because he puts much more emphasis on the lyrics and story of the song. Enjoy this weeks SoMo Sunday, sorry it’s on a Tuesday. Happy New Year from Fresh New Tracks.
Hip-Hop | Lil’ Wayne, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Rick Ross | HIP-HOP

Us New Yorkers are disappointed. The Jets’ loss was a massive blow to our self esteem. That doesn’t mean, however, that we don’t plan to enjoy this upcoming Sunday Funday. Unlike me, Lil’ Wayne was fortunate enough to have his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers, secure a slot in the Superbowl. Weezy goes hard over Wiz’s “Black & Yellow” beat in order to show some love for his boys.

This track is rumored to be a Recovery left over. Apparently it was recorded circa April 2006 – 2007?! No one in the blogosphere is really sure…However, “Give Me The Ball” is now making its rounds on the internet. If you have yet to hear it, give it a listen below.

This upbeat track features lyricism by Snoop Dogg. Although it most definitely has that mainstream sound, I’m sort of into it (probably because I’m a chick).

I hope everyone enjoys this Sunday’s game (get off the cbox and do something with your life)! Oh, and long live the Jets…always reppin’
