Events | Electric Zoo Announces Phase 2 Lineup
Posted by Middy on May 28, 2014
Phase 1 brought headliners like Kaskade, Alesso, Armin van Buuren, Sasha and Jack U to Randall’s Island over Labor Day weekend, but now Phase 2 adds another 60 names to the mix to help fill out the increasingly stacked lineup for Electric Zoo this year. It has been well-documented the increased security measures that E Zoo will have this year, shortening the festival by two hours and adding a lot more on site law enforcement and medical personnel among others. Hopefully though, we will be able to focus on the music and not on all of the headline grabbing things that have beleaguered electronic music this time around, so be smart and read on for the lineup additions which includes names like Jamie XX, Ame, Audien, What So Not and many more. Go on grab tickets, including single day passes if you fancy one day more then the rest.
Hip-Hop | YG – I’m Good (Andrew Luce Remix)
Posted by Nick on December 24, 2013
Yet another massive track from the boy wonder Andrew Luce: this time, the San Francisco native chose to remix YG’s “I’m Good,” showing off his ability to skillfully blend popular electronic styles with a clear Bay Area hip-hop influence. If you need a track to throw down with quality sampling and a consistent, clean, dynamic, & just straight up loud bass line, you’ve found your match.
For those of you heading out to Snowglobe in S. Lake Tahoe next week, make sure to catch his set at the Main Stage on Tuesday from 4:30-5:30. After winning the event’s Opening DJ Contest, it’s definitely a performance you won’t want to miss – again, big things coming from this guy. Don’t forget to hit up a free download!
