Hip-Hop, Reggae | Mark Hardy, Tinie Tempah, Cali P, Laden & More | Reggae
Posted by BIGLIFE on February 17, 2011
I need someone to start submitting reggae tracks to our gmail because it takes me forever to find something catchy. One out of fifteen tracks I listen to has both solid production and a catchy hook. And don’t tell me they blow because you cant understand the lyrics, just deal with it by making up your own. Big ups to Mark Hardy for always hitting us with quality tracks.

Hip-Hop | XV and J. Cole | HIP-HOP

XV and J. Cole have teamed up to create a dope track. Sampling “To Forgive” by The Smashing Pumpkins, “SmallVille” embodies the perfect mixture of a chill song with hard lyrics.

Hip-Hop | HIP-HOP | Zac White

I have been sitting on this mixtape for a minute, but after lending an ear to it this weekend, I think that the FNT Nation needs to hear this guy. Although the jury is out out on this project as a whole, there are definitely a few gems on here that are worth your time. Film Credit to HL Films. For more from Zac White, check out his facebook

I am not sure whether I like this song because of the lyrics or if I am just jacked up that someone tried to tackle this beat

Hip-Hop | Hip-Hop | The Game – I’m The King

Finally after several delays The Game will be dropping “The R.E.D. Album” in 2011. DJ Skee produced this well put together track, has a bit of a soul vibe to it, deep lyrics. I’m a fan of it…

Hip-Hop | HIP-HOP | Eminem – Difficult
Posted by BIGLIFE on December 31, 2010
Here’s a heartfelt track by the legend who has taken the month of December by storm with his blog chart topping tracks. This hookless song, with meaningful lyrics that make up for any missing elements, deserves to be single posted – if only to show some degree of respect for a guy who publicly addressed his pain through music. The line about buying presents for the kids of his fallen friend touched a soft spot in me. MTV covered this track so I’ll let them do the talking…
Eminem has always maintained that the death of his best friend and D12 member Proof was one of the most devastating moments of his life, and four years after his passing, Eminem is still upholding the late MC’s legacy in his music.
On Thursday (December 30), the Em track “Difficult” surfaced on the Web, in which the Detroit lyricist devotes several bars to his relationship with his fallen homey — who was gunned down in a Motor City nightclub in 2006 — and how the memory of his trusted friend still lingers.

Hip-Hop | Futuristic – Next To Blow
Posted by Juicebox on October 8, 2010
“I’m feeling like frosted flakes, cause im f*cking great, you wanna box, then consider me a f*cking crate”
When I found this kid I was hesitant posting his mediocre produced video/song and wondered if his flow could improve to the stature the industry demands these days. A few months later he hit me up again with another video and a few more tracks. If I hadn’t seen the video I wouldn’t have believed it was him; the kids flow, voice, and lyrics are all on a different level from the “Futuristic” we had posted before. Don’t sleep on any of these tracks…
Futuristic – Who Dat Remix — (4 stars)
Futuristic – The Peoples Choice Remix — (4 stars)
Futuristic – Nothin On You Remix — (3.5 stars)
Futuristic – Rock My Chain — (3.5 stars) This song has lots of potential with some better production, still sick
