NGHTMRE’s long awaited release of the VIP to this summer’s Trap anthem “Street” is now available for free download via Mad Decent. Arguably the most buzzing producer on the planet, the list of discovered but yet unreleased collabs and tracks read like a who’s who… After “the” VIP drops, he has a remix of Skrillex and Zhu’s track, collabs with Dillon Francis, LOUDPVCK, Alison Wonderland and more leaking all over the internet but still not out. Reddit put out a pretty legit top 100 DJ list and Tyler was listed at #44. With a slew of Mad Decent and Owsla releases cued up, and the most anticipated VIP of the year now out, NGHTMRE is set for a monster 2016. The track is already getting support from RL Grime, Martin Garrix, and Snails. Today NGHTMRE is also announcing the Australian edition of his Lighters Up tour with Flosstradamus presented by BBE. The VIP is part of Mad Decent’s 12 days of Christmas series.

Albums, Electronic | Kill The Noise, Brillz & Minxx – Saturn (GTA Remix) + Black Magic Remixes EP

Posted by on August 29, 2013

This is going to be huge! The Black Magic Remixes EP is set to release on September 3rd, and if the tracklist isn’t enough to get you jacked up, you have to listen to the 2 minute teaser containing snippets from all 9 songs; it’s out of control. PLUS, the Saturn remix by GTA is available for you to listen to in full. The remix is massive, as expected from GTA. Two very diverse drops, equally high energy, and equally wicked. AND THEN, yesterday Kill The Noise posted the ExMAG remix of Jump Ya Body. ExMAG puts a pretty interesting spin on the song; changing the vibe while keeping a lot of the sounds from the original that you would think might conflict with the funky feel. The remix really figures itself out around the halfway mark. Although I must say I’m more excited to hear LOUDPVCK’s remix in full.

Events | Electric Zoo Announces Full Lineup of Afterparties + Grounds Update

Electric Zoo 2013 Map
One of the big announcements for this year’s Electric Zoo was the addition of the second MainStage, which brought a lot of excitement at the new lineup possibilities, but also some questions as to where they would put it. Well now they have answered that question, with a map layout that puts the entrance near the Sunday School Groove Tent and the second MainStage opposite the 3 tent stages. I believe there won’t be an issue with noise bleeding, like there was at EDC NYC, but one issue may be with it getting very crowded walking along that path, especially at night and with inebriated festival-goers.

Made Event has teased a few afterparties in the past week or so, but now they have revealed all 14, bringing in Cielo and Output for a much more housey landscape. If you want to brave the crowds at Pacha, they have strong lineups, but if not, your more mainstream sounds will be championed by the bigger Roseland Ballroom, hosting the likes of Benassi, Dyro, The Machine, W&W and Deniz Koyu. Best Buy Theater will be your place for bass music with Flux and friends on Friday, Adventure Club and friends on Sunday and an intriguing show of Rudimental, Delta Heavy and Modeselektor on Saturday. If you are willing to make the hour-long commute to Brooklyn after the show for some house, Output is for you, with Dirtybird taking over in what will be one of the better afterparties, while Laurent Garnier takes over for a marathon solo set on Sunday, and Friday has a double-header at Output and Cielo. There is something for everyone at these afters that will allow you to keep the party going and get no sleep over Labor Day Weekend. Full schedule after the jump, and grab your tickets below. You can still grab tickets for the festival here.
