When Martin Solveig teamed up with The Cataracs to release “Hey Now” it was a Pop / Top 40 tune that would be difficult to receive club / festival support. Michael Calfan follows up his heavily supported “She Wolf” remix with his long awaited remix of Belgian’s Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike & Regi’s “Momentum“. Michael Calfan adds his progressive flare to this already joyous track by keeping much of the build but adding onto the drop with a piano top line and a more intricate bass line. It is great to see this young Frenchman do so well with his remixes, though he has not been able to make a single with the quality as “Resurrection“, so hopefully we will get that soon. Remixes from Clockwork and Mystique and Amro take an edgier approach to the track with some grungier chords and more of an electro based feel.

With the best and most unique Dance Music Festival around the world, Tomorrowland, coming up this weekend, it is only fitting that the anthem be released now and from the biggest names in House music from Belgium, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike contributed to last years anthem with Afrojack & Nervo and now this year have the clout to make the anthem on their own, making for the first ever non Avicii release on Avicii’s label LE7ELS. The song seems to capture the free spirited nature of Tomorrowland, where you leave everything behind and you are transported into another world for 3 days. Everything from the soft piano and guitar builds to the euphoric synth melody gives off that feeling of pure summer bliss. The song is both in the preview below and the great video above. Also of note, Tomorrowland will be live streamed this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so if you were not able to get tickets, or just can’t get over to Belgium, set the stream up on the big screen and get ready to party with the couple hundred thousand there at Tomorrowland and millions more in homes all across the globe.
