Although this isn’t as catch as Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg’s “California Gurl”, Kanye West does a venerable job of trying to live up to the previous hit by laying down some impressive bars. Hopefully Katy will continue to seek out big rappers to compliment her pop voice; its a great formula for success if you ask me.

This song is off Travis Barker’s up coming mixtape, Let the Drummer Get Wicked. The drums that Travis added really give this song the aggressive feel that just wasn’t there in the original version. With tracks produced by Kanye West, J.R. Rotem, Quincy Jones, Dr. Luke, and B.o.B. himself, “No Genre” turned out to be quite a mixtape. Theres a solid amount of his signature feel good poppy mainstream tracks balanced with tracks like “Beast Mode” where he drops the singing and just goes hard. All in all, it’s a must download…

WTF, is this real life? A 5 foot 8 high school student with braces dunks on a 6 foot 8 defender! Don’t waste your time trying to find this kids jet boosters because I spent 30 minutes doing just that. I need more info on this kid. In other news, Suge Knight’s storage unit was auctioned off on A&E’s “Storage Wars”. That’s humiliating. Full article can be found at HipHopWired:
As previously reported, the Death Row Records head had a number of his items sold at auction in February by the owner of ‘Conejo Valley Moving & Storage’ who said he owed him money.
Similarly, Knight’s items were seen being sold on the premier of A&E’s “Storage Wars.”
The auction was said to be successful making $4,500 dollars in 30 minutes off Suge’s property including furniture, clothing, appliances and gym equipment.
