Hip-Hop | Gorilla Warfare Tactics | CHILL RAP
Posted by GMONEY on January 25, 2011
Three of my guys friends here in NYC have started a new hip-hop group entitled, “Gorilla Warfare Tactics.” Two of these goons even reside from the same hometown as me (what’s good Orangemen?).
They’ve been hitting the studio hard lately, and have just released “Temptations,” a chill track that’s definitely worth a listen. It’s got that sort of “old time” feel. Good vibes.
They plan to drop another track next week, as well as a freestyle vid. If you FNT’ers enjoy the track, go like their Facebook page.

We figured you’re no longer at college standing on couches and tables raging so we made this playlist with a good balance between hip hop and electro. New Years countdown…2 days
Hip-Hop | HIP-HOP | Starting Six
Posted by BIGLIFE on December 19, 2010
This up and coming hip hop group from Berkley, Ca has been making some serious noise recently (especially in our chatbox). I’ve featured three of their older tracks along with one new one titled, “Yogi”. I’m digging some of their tunes so make sure to sound off in the comments section and chatbox if you’d like to hear more. For additional info on these guys check out their Facebook and Twitter pages.
Starting Six – Lookin for a Nut
Starting Six – On Me (ft. Feez Shugz & T-Wag)
Starting Six – Paper Planes Smoke With Me (ft. Young Murph The Kidd)

I thought it was about time to drop some updates from the up and comer of the hip hop scene.
Goone – Get It Gooey ft. Mike Stud

We have been following Cato for the past year or so and have been consistently impressed by his offerings. His most recent release, “Thanks to all the Haters,” is definitely worth your time. Grab the full mixtape for free here
Hip-Hop | CHILL RAP | Divine Rhyme and People Under The Stairs
Posted by BIGLIFE on December 16, 2010

Not much in the way of hip hop this week so I’ve switched it up a bit by throwing some mellow tracks your way. I’m waiting on Divine Rhyme to send over a few new songs but in the meantime use “Everyday” to get familiar with their dope vibe. Did anyone else catch 50’s tweet about the 3D glasses company he recently took a stake in, “Tweetin with my gunnar glasses on trick! u aint got these suckas. get ur money right ima get like 50 new hoes wit the” check the picture out here, it just about sums up the baller stereotype. Those are fresh I might need to pick up a pair.

Although we mainly focus on hip hop and electro, that doesn’t mean that we don’t know other good music when we hear it. With that in mind, we invite those members of the FNT Nation currently residing near DC to do your ears a favor and head over to the Birchmere this Friday, November 19th to see The Morrison Brothers Band.
