Before you get on my back for reposting this video let it be known that I did it on purpose (Biglife doesn’t make mistakes). This whip session is epic, I’ve probably watched this at least 40 times with my roommates. These young guns kill it. Rumor has it they might be linking up with a FNT artist sometime in the near future.

Here’s another submission that caught my ear. I never would have guessed this x-collegiate athlete gone rapper has been in this game for less than a year. Talk about an all-star line up. The features on this mixtape are pretty impressive, although a few songs are just Travis Barker remixes, and the Whoo Kid tags are annoying. Nonetheless if you’re into the badass drums, and like the tracks below, then you should pick up this mixtape.

The Game wasted no time to drop a follow up mixtape to “Purp and Patron”. This latest one is aptly titled “The Hangover” and is filled with more bass bumping tracks that feature a number of established artists like Busta Rhymes, Timbaland, Ghostface, and Kurupt. I’ve posted two cuts off the tape below, including one that proves Timbaland is still armed with the skills that he seemingly refuses to utilize on his “Timbaland Thursday” projects. “The King” aka Game’s most recent leak off his highly anticipated “R.E.D album”, fell short of my expectations much like H.A.M did. It wasn’t unbearable but at the same time it didn’t stay on my hard drive for very long. I’m used to the hard hitting beats in songs like the Game’s most recent tagless drop of “Stop”. It might be wishful thinking considering the DJ version hit the internet over a year ago, but I’m hoping the rest of his album features tracks similar to “Stop” and songs found on his earlier projects like Let Me Put You In The Game. Incredibly, XXL magazine claims that in a recent poll, the hype around Game’s upcoming album trumps big names like Dre, Lupe, Wayne and more. Personally, I think the results were skewed by the fact that the Game was probably the only person who told his fans to go vote for him. Anyways the west coast rapper really compliments the east coast bawse quite well in this track. Of course the production talents of Cool & Dre didn’t hurt either…
