It’s not often you see someone remixing Backstreet Boys, but it does happen. “Everybody,” the group’s 1997 single, was recently remixed by our friend Apashe, and the Australian’s Oski and Lennon. All the millenials out there are going to go bananas, like I did when I first heard this track. The three producer’s show off their diversity by dipping into two styles that you wouldn’t think go together. It just goes to show how talented and creative these producers are. Midnight Pool Party, an up and coming duo out of Sydney, has been pushing the limits of disco with their unique blend of classic and modern styles. Their newest track “Disease” is a definitely proof of this. throughout the song they feature retro synths and catchy vocodered vocals, then they take it all and throw it on a deep and funky bass part for a really nice finished product.
