Drum & Bass | I Am Legion Ft. Strange U – Dust Descends
Posted by Mach on August 18, 2013
Noisia and Foreign Beggars strike gold, previewing another track from their collaboration group, I Am Legion. This isn’t your typical Drum & Bass tune. If deep Drum & Bass was an actual subgenre, this would be the defining track. We are just weeks away from these collaborator big album release on September 2nd. Bass music is about to have an entirely different face.
Drum & Bass, Dubstep | I Am Legion – Make Those Moves

I am really excited to finally get to post this epic download from Noisia and the Foreign Beggars’ collaboration project, I Am Legion. This track has been owning my ears for weeks now and finally we can all have a good quality copy of it to blast through our speakers. “Make Those Moves” is the first Neuro-hop track we have heard from Noisia and I have to say it will definitely set the bar for the next generation of bass producers. Dubstep will soon take a backseat to this Hip-Hop and Neuro-funk infused genre.

Drum & Bass, FYI | Noisia & Foreign Beggars Join To Create, I Am Legion
Posted by Mach on June 15, 2013
One of Drum & Bass’s legendary groups, Noisia, and Grime trio, Foreign Beggars, announced their new epic collaboration project, I Am Legion. It is no surprise that the two groups decided to work together like this. They have done many great tracks together in the past including “Shellshock” and a favorite of mine, “Contact”. Just the other day I Am Legion unleashed a preview on BBC Radio 1 of their filthy new track, “Make Those Moves”. The dominant bass behemoth pounds into your ears taking no prisoners. I Am Legion may end up being one the best things to happen to Drum & Bass, Neuro-funk, and Dubstep in 2013. Keep an eye out for more killer I Am Legion tracks.
Hip-Hop | Foreign Beggars Ft. Skinnyman & DVS – Hold On (Maksim Edition)
Posted by Mach on March 28, 2013
Miksim is one of the hottest MCs in the UK, spitting over Hip-Hop, Grime, and even Dubstep and its many sub-genres. He has done a lot of work with great producers such as Culprate, Document One, Quartus Saul, and many others. This is a great track for him to have picked to rap over. Foreign Beggars have always had verse friendly beats that have been successfully redone by many. Maksim comes in like boss, spitting a flow flawlessly to the kicks and snare. Definitely on of my favorites of his now.

Dubstep, Preview | FuntCase Ft. MIK – Don’t P*ss Me Off
Posted by Mach on March 2, 2013
Those who are familiar with FuntCase know that he has barely made a dent in releases from his music vault. To my great pleasure, he is releasing an 8 track EP titled “Don’t P*ss Me Off,” on March 17th. Good old Saint Patrick’s Day. Today FuntCase released this clip of the EPs title track, and if this one track is any reflection of the EP we are in for a real treat. I love how FuntCase bounces around on this track to keep you interested, jumping from Dubstep to Drumstep with his classic popcorn bass and a few other filthy effects we love. There is mp3 of the track floating around, but it is a low quality version for radio play. I highly recommend holding out for the official release because this track is just too good to taint like that.

Dubstep | Foreign Beggars – Apex (prod. Knife Party) / Dirtyphonics Remix
Posted by Spice on September 17, 2012
London-based hip-hop/dubstep group Foreign Beggars are back and bringing us some serious grime from their upcoming album The Uprising, set to drop on October 1st on Mau5trap Records. “Apex,” the fourth and final single, features production from none other than Knife Party — and it’s easy to see the influence of Rob and Gareth in those distortions and high laser synths. The Beggars layer some of their trademark rapid-fire verses over the instrumental, demonstrating that at the nexus of rap and dubstep lies total insanity. Included in the package is an even filthier remix from Dirtyphonics, which brings out the bass and folds in a crazy drop for good measure. A must DL for all you bassheads out there.
