Progressive House | Sam Smith – Stay With Me (Moiez Remix)
Posted by Middy on September 10, 2014
This tune has been hit with an exorbitant amount of remixes, but I urge you to listen to one more. Moiez back to the old style he did on “Flight” for a more progressive trance sound that would possibly jive with Anjunabeats, adding some big, cascading synth chords to the tune. This is free, so there is no downside to getting this one.

Electro, Hip-Hop, Trap | Daytrip – Drop It (ft. 77Klash, Lil Silk, Yung Burrakami)
Posted by admin on June 26, 2014
Fresh off the plane from New York, New York, the Daytrip boys have arrived in Kingston, Jamaica. The production duo has returned with their second song, “Drop It”. The direction is undoubtedly different than their first smash “Flight 43”. There’s no use in trying to rationalize it, “Drop It” is a turn-up anthem, and a damn good one at that.
77Klash, Lil Silk, and Yung Burrakami are all called in to add their respective energies. Lil Silk’s verse is difficult to match, however, from start to finish Daytrip ensures their listeners a backdrop for any shenanigans they’ll be getting in to for the night. If you missed Daytrip’s beginning story, take a look.
Enough words, “how about we take twenty shots to the face?”

A progressive house producer I’ve been keeping an eye on Patriot, who you might remember with his epic remix of Angels & Airwaves’ “The Flight Of The Apollo” hit me up with his latest, this time remixing the likes of New Jersey hip-hop duo I.O.U.‘s “Greatest Time Of My Life” off their album The Soul & The Intellect, and he hits the spot with this one! The greatest time of your life should be euphoric. and there’s nothing better than a smooth piano melody, and that progressive house sound to get you there! Electro, Trap | Daytrip – Flight 43 (NYC)
Posted by admin on April 9, 2014
Before deeming any new music as something special it needs to pass my three-stage exam. Make no mistake, this is not an easy feat as the song or artist must sound equally glorious through headphones, car speakers, and desktop speakers. This morning sealed the deal, and Daytrip has officially passed the test.
Their first official release is entitled “Flight 43”, and it seems quite fitting. The song builds for take-off, and cruises through an exciting ride –is there such thing as pleasant turbulence?– before finally slowing down to land, awaiting their next journey. Although it is the first song public on SoundCloud, it’s apparent the Daytrip duo is not new to making music. And, any look through their travel-log/tumblr will show you that this product has been a long time coming.
Daytrip’s sound is one that is difficult to pinpoint. While some may knock “Flight 43 (NYC)” for trying to do too much, I hear a song that is incredibly cohesive, despite its numerous experimental features. Listeners can hear a Jacuzzi/Mr. Carmack future-trap influence alongside a shredded guitar sample, all packaged in to an “ambitious powerhouse production” (Confusion, P&P).
In a day and age where music is becoming a “less is more” game, Daytrip is an exciting, unexpected and refreshing twist.
Chill, Trap | Flight Facilities – Crave You (Royal Refix) [Download]

I love pretty much everything about this track – because with a superbly executed blend between Trap and Jersey, what’s not to love? If you liked the Adventure Club edit of Flight Facilities’ hit single “Crave You,” then you need to check out Maryland-based producer Royal’s version. They are right on par with each other in terms of quality, making this a must-listen . It’s (almost) officially springtime, the sun is out, the flowers are blooming, and if you’re looking to turn those feel-good vibes up a notch, I highly recommend grabbing the free download on this track.
