With the announcement of a fall tour across the US, the excitement has reached a fever pitch over what to expect from Pryda with EPIC 2.0. The trailer was scintillating and displaying stunning visuals that we hope to see on the tour. He has only announced 4 dates thus far in 3 cities, which you can see below. More dates to come at some point, but for now, people in LA, NYC and Chi-town get out your wallets because Eric Prydz is coming to town and you aren’t going to miss this. Tickets go on sale, today the 23rd, 12pm local time.

He is back and possibly better than ever. Eric Prydz has announced EPIC, or Eric Prydz in Concert, 2.0, revamping his already mind-blowing setup into something bigger and better. Since he lives in North America, it is just here to start, but who knows where it could end up. He has already hinted at coming back to New York, where he blew the roof off of Roseland Ballroom twice over Thanksgiving. Just watch the visuals in the video, and you will know it is time to see EPIC.

One of the names to watch in 2013, Fehrplay makes his return to Eric Prydz’s Pryda Friends imprint with his debut 2013 release “I Can’t Stop It”. The Norwegian producer provides us with the hallmarks of what we can expect with a Fehrplay production and Pryda Friends release — subtly and melodic complexity. Getting its first play on EPIC radio 005 and later being chosen as an essential new tune by Pete Tong, Fehrplay uses a rolling bass line with euphoric synth chords and prominent arps, aided by entrancing vocals to create a complete, full body track sure to remain prominent for the first few months of the year..

Fehrplay is another fantastic addition to Eric Prydz’s label, Pryda Friends that has seen an uptick in activity with new signings and releases not just from the label chief himself with the monumental release of his “Eric Prydz Presents: Pryda”, but also with Jeremy Olander, Fehrplay and more. Fehrplay gives us that sound that we have come to expect and love from Pryda and his label. It is a refreshing change of pace now where the trends have moved towards heavier and heavier bass and many of the same types of progressive melodies rule the charts. If you want a change a pace from your normal hits (nothing wrong with those, I love them too) and are into this sound, this is definitely something you will want to get. Also check out the second EPIC radio episode that includes a plethora of unreleased Eric Prydz tracks and several other hand picked tracks that he has been playing out lately and been getting a great reaction from. This remix is EPIC, it couldn’t wait till morning. Qualified for the R Rated post, but it deserves its own despite that. Tim Ismag is a producer I don’t know much about, but I have heard a good amount of his music, mainly remixes. This remix is filthy, not what I was expecting when I hit play. Prepare your ears…it still may not be enough.
