Videos | Nardwuar vs. Machine Gun Kelly
Posted by dshaq on March 26, 2012
Nardwuar is putting on for Vancouver. This interview was one of the more entertaining ones with MGK switching it up on the gift master himself. Of course Nardwuar brings out his knowledge, which leaves Kells dumbfounded. I’m very interested to see if Nardwuar has any more interviews. Is there anyone else to interview? It sure seems like there isn’t. Machine Gun Kelly just released his new EP, Half Naked & Almost Famous, which you can purchase HERE. Look back for more mind blowing interviews but also more music from Kells. Doot Doo!

Drum & Bass, Dubstep | Camo & Krooked — Between The Lines EP

Where to even begin with this amazing remix EP. If you have heard any recent DnB sets by any artist, then you most likely have heard half of these tracks. This is definitely one of the most well rounded DnB EP’s; including everything from the heaviest DnB/Drumstep tracks to the most melodic form of DnB and everything in between. This Remix EP features all styles of DnB leaving nothing out and making sure everyones listening needs are fulfilled. Also included are two masterpiece originals by the duo which also have been highlights of most DnB sets. You can find the big names in this EP such as FuntCase and Fred V & Grafix as well as new comers, such as Dead Battery who won the remix competition. I wish I could go through and talk about how sensational, well-constructed and instrumentally genius each track is, but that would take me all day and all night. Electro-House, Progressive House | Live City – Liver Than Ever EP
Posted by Middy on March 16, 2012
Live City are back again with another EP that is able to match the quality of the last one. A 4 song EP consisting of 3 originals and an edit of Bingo Player – Rattle, this EP has something for everyone. They mix heavy electro synths and distortions with smooth progressive synths to create a total package in each song. The production is top notch and each song is creative and different in their own right. The first track “My Robot will F*ck You Up” may be the track that helps give them some real popularity and set them on the path to success because it is a massive with an uplifting build of progressive and rising synths with stutters and then crescendos into a huge heavy electro drop. The other songs are all very good, with a personal favorite being “Lexington” and the whole EP is free so do not miss this.

Dubstep | Eptic — Like A Boss EP
Posted by Sev on March 12, 2012
Eptic’s new EP has finally been unleashed by Never Say Die Records. This producers upbeat, seizure styled sounds have been taking the stages by storm. FuntCase and Inspector Dubplate being avid supporters of Eptic’s tracks just goes to show you how heavy these tunes can get. Starting off with Death Ray, which is a prime example of a heavy, laser synth filled track that even throws in a few “Yo” synths hear and there. Oh Snap is a track I would say closely relates to a Brown and Gammon style track with pauses and high pitched synths. Fast Forward takes a slight different approach with a more jump-up feel, but still heavy with the bass and Like A Boss which was given away last week needs no further introduction. Get the EP on Beatport HERE. Just as a little gift since we didn’t get to post DarkElixir’s free EP, READ ON to get my favorite track from the EP.
