I found it interesting that Pretty Lights has (finally) claimed one of his songs to be dubstep. This is technically a mashup, but he added in his twist on beats that we have all come to expect and love. Nice, chill change of pace from other dubstep. Pretty Lights should be in everyones music library.

Jacob Plant is the 19 year old prodigy who releases banger after banger. He seems to have found his signature dubstep bassline. This is a lower quality track considering it’s not out yet, but you can hardly tell and still enjoy how awesome his producing is.

This is one of those famous, but not really artists. I heard the duo for the first time a few months ago and was impressed, except the tracks were very short. Glad to see they stepped it up… a lot. The intro to the track is a little long, but the insane drop is worth the wait.

Here are two mellow dubstep tracks that will NOT make your ears bleed. I’m partial to the remix of Chase and Status’ “Time” but don’t discount the Adventure Club track by any means.

This track is sick, the beat compliments the vocals perfectly.

This track is a first for me, I have never really heard a successful dutch and dubstep blend. This track is undoubly incredible.

Hes only 19 and already an animal in the industry. This remix is incredible, its producers like this that give dubstep the great name it has. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that this might be the decade for electro, but dubstep will be right there with it.

People that don’t like dubstep tell me they like Nero anyways. Nero obviously didn’t make this remix, but DallasK took a sick track and made it…sick. Im glad he kept the vocals hot, the only real change was a sweet twist to the beat.

This has to be one of my favorite collaberation duos in dubstep. After hearing “Heavy Artilliary” as Im sure some of you may have, I was sold on their awesomeness. This track is not for those of you who “don’t understand” heavy dubstep, but I have been surprised before.

DJ Kue never disappoints, I have almost every remix and track hes done and they are all fire. This remix feels like it came out of left field, was not expecting it at all. He incorporates the basic original of the song in the intro and then he just lets the beat build. The electro drop is sick, he even added some dubstep whomps in there.

Dirtyphonics are the sleepers of the dubstep world, almost no one has really heard of them but those who have only have great things to say. This remix is so sick. Keeps the key Skrillex beats that we love, but adding an epic twist to them.
