Here’s a “medium-core” dubstep gem that features an enjoyable balance between the dope original vocals and the whomps most of us have grown to love. I still can’t stand super heavy dubstep so as of right now, nothing I post will make your ears bleed.

And since I love the original version of this song so much I decided to hunt around for an unconventional remix. It might take a few listens to get acclimated to this sound but if you’ve got an affinity for both mainstream hip-hop and dubstep this could be a worthwhile download. Give it an ear at the very least. PS Lil Wayne haters go listen to his verse in “Motivation” (linked). I’m siding with some of our fans on this one, Wayne’s talents haven’t been exhausted quite yet… (PPS. FML Mach already posted this one like 22 days ago…)

Dubstep | Curious Kontrol, Tronix, Cutline, and Hack The System

Some of the best dubstep doesn’t come from artists that you know well. In fact some of the greatest made come from artists like these, artists that never really even got 15 minutes of fame. Curious Kontrol turned a so-so Skrillex track into one that should be on everyones dubstep essentials list.

The tronix track is one of the most beautiful dubstep basslines I have heard, very similar to Gemini’s style.
DOWNLOAD: Tronix – Blue Sphere
Cutline is a little more famous than the others on this list, but doesn’t get the hype deserved. This new remix is heavy, but what I enjoy the most about cutline is the heavy beat doesn’t sound mindless.

With the release of Skrillex’s new Ep on iTunes, he also gave us this epic video of the adventure he calls his life. Personally I am jealous of the lifestyle, but to make us feel better about it here is the download for this sick track.

Nero might be the best and dumbest duo in dubstep. Not only did they send advanced copies to friends of their new upcoming EP “Welcome To Reality,” but one of them leaked the only two tracks that we haven’t heard yet haha. They even took a photo of it and posted it online, check it out HERE. With that said the last two tracks are insane, so here you go. Welcome to reality Nero.

Before there were dubstep heroes such as Rusko, Skrillex, and Nero, there was MRK1. Without this Godfather of Dubstep and his basslines, the new genre would not have progressed to where it is now. After a few years of performing and working with artist such as Benga and Distance, the legend dropped this new original track.

Adventure Club has been getting a lot of hype recently. No doubt it’s because they drop bangers everytime. The basslines are always different on their tracks, but they manage to create one to fit every track they remix.

After Save The World dropped tons and tons of remixes have come out, but none that resemble any good dubstep. I wouldn’t go as far as saying this track is great, it’s good, but I feel this remix opened the door for better ones to come.

Pretty Lights is just getting deeper in the dubstep. This is one of his heaviest tracks I’ve heard. Which to some might seem bad, but this is awesome. I wish I went to Bonnaroo this year.

Don’t worry I see you in the chatbox, and yes this dubstep/mashup was worth posting. Keep up the good work. This is the second time I have heard Eminem mashed with dubstep and he turns out to be one of the best rappers you can put on a bassline. Let me start by saying that I am more of a house and trance guy, but dubstep is growing on me and the people want it, so here is some dubstep. Here is the new song that Benga of Magnetic Man just gave to the world for free. The video is absurd and next time you are out bumping some dubstep, try some of these moves.

Only Nero would come up with the idea to do a dubstep symphony, considering they come up with just about everything else dubstep related. Classical is the one genre of music I could never get into even after playing the piano for 12 years, but this is amazing. I wish I was that awesome.
Down to the goods now. This first track I know everyone is going to complain about how it just stops short, it’s because its not out yet. Despite being cut short I think you listeners can stand 3 minutes of epicness. With that said this track is insane, the second drop being entirely different from the first.

Back In Black is my second favorite AC/DC song next, second to Highway To Hell. If you don’t like AC/DC that’s ok because this is a sick track.
