It’s about time I feature these two teenage rappers from Philly on FNT. Every few days or so I find myself revisiting old videos and scouring Youtube for new material and yet, I’ve never given them a post. The beat and verses in the youtube video above are dope. Here’s the bio off their facebook page:
OCD is an up and coming rap duo straight out of Philadelphia, PA. Their unique progressive hip hop sound has been receiving plenty of attention recently on the East Coast. Still high school seniors, Moosh & Twist are two teens with dreams to change the game in a positive way. Two young men with the drive to make it. OCD for life.

XV and J. Cole have teamed up to create a dope track. Sampling “To Forgive” by The Smashing Pumpkins, “SmallVille” embodies the perfect mixture of a chill song with hard lyrics.

Wow, this isn’t like anything you’ve heard in a while. Milkman obviously dedicated a significant amount of time to this project as he seamlessly blends (note this is more than a mashup project) a full decade worth of tracks. He really digs in the archives, grabbing tracks like Hootie & The Blow Fish’s “Only Wanna Be With You” amongst others, to create something that reminds you of the good times both old and new. If I were you I’d download the entire project on his website but if you need some encouragement check out the tracks below, including his original mix of “Breaking Free” which is dope, like filthy dope.

Hip-Hop | HIP-HOP | Did Dre Just Announce the Detox Release Date?

I know, I know, I know. I’ve already posted a ton of Hip-Hop today. Well guess what? I have one more post coming at you which I couldn’t hold off on mainly because I’m highly optimistic about Detox (unlike a large majority of our followers). In the twitter video above, Just Blaze insinuates that Detox will drop on 4.20. First off, this is a terrific marketing scheme; reserve the annual stoner day for the ultimate stoner album. I couldn’t ask for better timing on a project that’s eluded a definitive timeframe for so long. However, I’m somewhat skeptical about the way in which these two leaked this information. Dre put himself in a situation that’ll be easy to dispute in the future if Detox doesn’t finally see daylight on 4/20. My fingers will be crossed until then and I’ll also be praying that the full album doesn’t leak before the actual due date, how tragic would that be?

Well the wait is finally over. FNT I present you with Lil Wayne’s first video debut since the time he spent in Rikers Island. Young Money swung for the fences with this project and hit a home run by rolling in multi-million dollar Bugatti’s, iced up kicks, and massive fire staging.
