This should quench your indie hip hop thirst for at least a few days. I’m pretty excited to drop this not only because the tracks are dope but also because “Dancernaut” happens to run one of my favorite blogs DancingAstronaut.com. Talk about putting me to shame, this guy can run a sick site andddd harness the power of his fans to jump off his career. I’m really digging the singular vibe these guys bring to their tracks. Watching this epic BartstoolU video is torturous considering I missed it only because I had to slave away on fixing FNT. Oh well there’s always a next time I guess… Here’s Brenton’s latest project which features Childish Gambino, an actor/writer/comedian/rapper who some of you might know from the NBC series “Community”. He actually has some legit bars on this. This has a slightly different vibe than some of the more recent Duvall beats, but that doesn’t mean I cant dig itttt.

Hoodie recently dropped some visual to go along with his newest track which samples Marina And The Diamonds recording “I Am Not A Robot”. Props to director Zach Goldberg for coming up with an interesting concept for the video. Check out Hoodie on Facebook and Twitter.

When all is said and done this is what makes my endless battle with our inbox all worth it in the end; finding undiscovered talent with a singular vibe that makes me grin because its so dope. I’m addicted to putting new material in front of our fanbase so when I come across a group like the Smokey Robotic I really just kick back and basque in the download numbers as the skyrocket. These four guys encompass the essentials; part pop, part electro and part hip hop, making up a sound that they like to call “Superfuture”. I’m excited to hear what everyone thinks about them. I may have a biased opinion about this track only because Jaws was filmed on my home of Marthas Vineyard. This is a DOPE house track.
