Devin Miles is back with a new release “Slickback,” and this might be my favorite production from the Pittsburgh MC produced byAndrew Lloyd, that bass is just too funky. There’s no doubt this record is title “Slickback,” Devin flows slick, and stays cool with the bars, spitting vanity all while staying grounded over a subtle jazzy beat. I dig it, dope record, this is a must listen!

Devin Miles from Pittsburgh releases visuals for his track “GTA (What They Want).” Miles spits a cool rap over a minimalist beat with some hard drums and low bass. This is some straight raw new school hip hop! Bounce to it, must listen!
Hip-Hop, Rap | Devin Miles – Some Shxt II
Posted by admin on August 18, 2013
After receiving the nod from Travi$ Scott on his last song, Devin Miles has returned with part two of his “Some Shxt” series. He showcases his silky smooth delivery while spitting some bars off the top of his head. The song surely isn’t supposed to have a crazy concept or powerful message, but what it does do is give a taste of what young Mr. Miles is capable of.
His soulful sound sets him apart and will keep him relevant long after others have teetered off. Enjoy “Some Shxt II” and watch closely as I’m sure there is plenty more to come from this Pittsburgh emcee.
Hip-Hop, Rap | Devin Miles – Sundress
Posted by admin on July 25, 2013
I think most guys can agree that there isn’t much better than a hot summer’s day with plenty of beautiful women in sundresses. Devin Miles seems to share that sentiment and has released a song paying homage to the spectacle of the sundress. The sunny months may seem like they’re running short, but a song like this will make you think they lasts for eternity. Ricquo Jones plays us the soft and sweet sounds of summer while Devin’s vocals compliment so perfectly.
Don’t think too much about going back to school, having to go work, or anything really. Just sit back, grab a lemonade and let the song take you away.
Hip-Hop | Devin Miles – 412/215 ft. Tayyib Ali
Posted by Grubeats on February 22, 2012
Pittsburgh native, Devin Miles, was fortunate to have a chance to grab a verse from Tayyib Ali who was breezing through the studio. Representing their respective area codes, Devil Miles delivers a strong first verse before the prince of Philly comes in with an impressive verse of his own. Lot of talent coming out of PA these days. Just to clarify, several blogs have labeled this track as Tayyib’s, but in fact it is Devin’s with a feature from Tay and will not be featured on any of Ali’s upcoming projects.

This is a two part post: a promo video for Devin Miles, and a few tracks from our man Rook. Don’t mix the two, they’re not connected. Above are the visuals to Miles’ upcoming project due out in September and none other than yours truly will be sponsoring it. If you have yet to check out his music, see our previous posts – HERE (he’s super dope). Below are a few new cuts from our man Rook. This isn’t mindless noise to keep you entertained (frat rap), you can actually listen to these bars.
Hip-Hop, Mixtapes | Devin Miles – Finding My Own | Hip-Hop

Last week I posted the visuals above in anticipation of Devin Miles mixtape “Finding My Own” – in case you forgot names like Rex Arrow and Big Germ were involved in this project. I’ve posted my favorite cuts below along with a download link for the full mixtape. Give this up and coming rapper a listen, he could start making some serious headway in the game if he continues to flow hard over filthy productions. Special shout to his manager Geoff for keeping us in the loop.
