Here at FNT, we always like to make sure we send you into the weekend well prepared. “World Tour” is definitely the fuel you need to get your weekend started.Ty and GSpence originally linked up in the now disbanded group Nautical Young and luckily for us, they have teamed up once again on a collaborative project entitled, “Ivy League Kids… Hollywood Dreams…” This rapper/producer duo plans to hit us with new fire every two weeks so make sure you stay up to date by following them on facebook and twitter.

I don’t know if its the hormones in our chicken and milk or what, but young guns seems to be relentlessly infiltrating the music scene. I thought Avicci, who emerged at the tender age of 19, was impressive, but now I’ve come across this 16 year old French kid who just kills it. His filthy Pendulum remix even graced the top spots of beatports charts a shortwhile ago. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this one. Check him out on Facebook and Twitter. The Bloody Beetroots have squeezed 18 of their best remixes into one album–set to release on Valentine’s Day. Best Of…Remixes will feature The Chemical Brothers, MSTRKRFT and many others. For the past three years, The Bloody Beetroots have pleased the ears of electronic music lovers. I’m sort of thankful this compilation is dropping on the 14th (my girlfriends and I will most definitely play the album, in all of its “historical” glory, before going out). Cheers to being single!

Three of my guys friends here in NYC have started a new hip-hop group entitled, “Gorilla Warfare Tactics.” Two of these goons even reside from the same hometown as me (what’s good Orangemen?).
They’ve been hitting the studio hard lately, and have just released “Temptations,” a chill track that’s definitely worth a listen. It’s got that sort of “old time” feel. Good vibes.
