Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Trap | Dirtyphonics – DIRTY
Posted by Sev on November 3, 2012
Dirtyphonics latest single Dirty released last week with some exciting remixes alongside the original from 12th planet, Metrik, Darth & Vader, and Nicolas Malinowsky . The original is already a high energy track with the monstrous Dirtyphonics style, bass filled drop, but the remixes provide some different perspectives to the heavy original. 12th planet provides a trap style remix that he has been incorporating within his tracks as of late with Nicolas Malinowsky contributing some trap as well. Metrik brings his usual fast paced DnB style to turn this track up and increase the energy even more. Darth & Vader’s remix portrays their heavy Electro-House style and a more uplifting feel to the track with their own melodies incorporated. Dubstep | R Rated #46

Kicking off this weeks R Rated is an upcoming bomb remix from Darth & Vader. For just a short clip, you really get the feel for this remix…then you go deaf.
Next we have Rekoil, I said it weeks ago that he had some gems on the way and he is most definitely delivering. The track isn’t the normal filth, but it is some tasty deep sh*t.
50Carrot isn’t an artist Sev and I end up posting often, but he is someone whose work we are very familiar with. He uploaded this clip of this VIP just a few days ago and woah…eardrum killer.
Redacted from my write up about Zomboy’s newest EP, I complained about how he never gives away anything for free. Good thing I took it out because he gave away true fire today.
I originally wasn’t going to post this, I don’t see the big deal about Borgore, he sucks. He gets lucky with remixes, this would be borderline, one of those remixes. I can see why people will go crazy over this though.
Electro-House | R3hab – The Bottle Song Remixes + Dyro – Seata
Posted by Middy on May 14, 2012
This is a very impressive remix package because there aren’t any mediocre remixes, which is rare because there is usually one or two in a remix package of 4 or 5. Dyro provides the most heavily supported remix of the package with the subtle build and high energy drop of rising synths and thumping bass. The Darth & Vader mix, supported by Sander van Doorn, works on the build adding more of a progressive flare to it with added synth chords and a grungy low end synth drop with emotive key work over the top. Dannic rebuilds much more of the track, adding a bigger intro and synth chords to the build with a moving melody in the break. D-wayne’s remix may be weakest of the bunch, but it is still a strong remix supported by Pete Tong with much of the original build in tact and dutch house drop. Below is the Darth & Vader mix and after the jump are the Dannic & D-wayne remixes.
Also included is Dyro’s single “Saeta” he also released recently. It is what we have come to expect from him, though maybe a little less creative than his recent works “EMP” and “Raid” and his upcoming “Top Of The World”. It has the electro build and the modern talking drop that is somewhat getting abused now, but still in style and quite popular on dance floors around the world.
Electro | John Williams – Duel Of The Fates (The Noisy Freaks Ft. Dead CAT Bounce Remix)

Seems that Coyote Kisses inspired many other artists to jump on the Star Wars train. The Noisy Freaks and Dead CAT Bounce jumped onto one hell of a collaboration. I wont say that they topped Coyote Kisses, but WOW, this is ana epic electro remix. I can imagine Darth Vader obliterating an entire army by himself to this.
