Contests | Jon Kilmer’s Music Video Contest!
Posted by GMONEY on December 1, 2011
At the beginning of November, we launched the Jon Kilmer’s Music Video Contest, in promotion of his upcoming free beats mixtape, Sheeps Jeeps and Beats, which drops Christmas morning. The premise of the competition was to find out who could spit the most insane 16 bars over Midnight Rider, the first leak off the mixtape. The winner of the competition receives a free music video shot, directed, and edited by the man himself. After receiving over 100 submissions over the past 30 days, Jon needed to call in some reinforcements for the judging process…watch the video for all of the juicy details.
…and without further adieu, hit more to reveal the winner.

Indie | W8’s Indie Pack #2
Posted by W8 on December 1, 2011
As the snow begins to fall here in Canada indie tends to fade from my playlist because of how summer oriented the sounds are. My sympathy goes out to you fortunate ones still occupying a warm climate, I feel your pain. After the positive response of last months Indie Thursday I took it upon myself to compile another collection of my favorite indie tracks of today. The more you like and comment on these indie posts equals the amount of energy I put into making them so feedback is nice.
Apparel | FNT Discount Code for Karmaloop
Posted by BIGLIFE on November 30, 2011

With the December holidays just around the corner, I decided to jump on the opportunity to give all of our wonderful fans a nice little discount code for Karmaloop.com. If you’re a sneaker-head like me, this should be music to your ears because you can get 20% off of your purchase, as well as free shipping by using the following code: FNT123. By the way, if you haven’t been to the site before they carry anything from headphones, to jewelry, to boutique apparel, to the sickest kicks in the game (both mens and womens). [Disclaimer: I genuinely think our fans will appreciate this so don’t bash me for trying to make a quick buck, because I’m not. If you have an issue with this sound off in the comments section – I want your feedback]
Karmaloop.com 20% off and Free Shipping code: FNT123
If your headphone or earbud game needs a tune up this holiday season, check out our top three options below.
1. Beats By Dre Pro – if you’re into high quality sound and a trendy look (or brand), this is probably your best bet. Gmoney and I personally have a pair of these (in white) and we couldn’t be happier. They’re MILES ahead of the other Beats by Dre products.
NOTE: use the CODE “HOLLI” – to get 30% off, free shipping, and a $25 gift card on all products over $350. The total for this item? A mere $315 which is a small price to pay for crystal clear sound.
2. Skullcandy Titan Headphones – I own these earbuds and have purchased 3 pairs (lost 2). Why? Well they’re perfect for working out because they’re durable, high quality, and portable. The sticking point for these has been the fact that rather than using rubber wires, Skullcandy uses a rope to cover the wires so that if you accidentally pinch the cord, they have a much better chance of survival.
Use our Discount Code “FNT123” to get these for $32.
3. WeSC’s “The Bass Headphones”. These headphones round out our top three list quite well because they offer a lot of bang for your buck. Whether your an aspiring DJ or an avid FNT listener, these will offer you high quality sound as well as durability for a relatively low cost.
Use the Discount Code “HOLLI” to get these for $66
Progressive House | Starkillers & Alex Kenji ft Nadia Ali – Pressure (Tim Mason Remix) & Preview
Posted by W8 on November 29, 2011
I’m highly anticipating this preview above. Anyways, the entire blogosphere slipped up and got the wrong version of Tim Mason’s version of Pressure, that was not about to happen here. Alesso will have forever claimed this track but still Tim Mason’s take is a calm refreshment. Feel the sound.

Trance | Cosmic Gate, meHilove, Dinka, & EDU
Posted by W8 on November 29, 2011
Since listening to meHilove’s Ukraine Mix months ago, I’ve been obsessed with progressive trance and have been eagerly awaiting the release of meHilove’s hit track ‘Daylight’ featured below. You are not about to be disappointed with these progressive trance jewels. Earlier today, as I walked in the rain navigating through space, all I could think of was how dream-like these sounds were.
You won’t find too many songs with vocals on my playlist. I don’t fancy having to make sense of voices during my leisure time. I’d much rather throw on some progressive trance that helps me escape from my perceived reality – that transports me into another dimension. It is in this alternate realm that these sounds remind me that there is nothing worth remembering. One has to feel the sound as opposed to trying to understand it.
These tracks will always remain timeless in my collection and really show me the difference between the songs I like versus those I love. Maybe our love for music is subconsciously trying to tell us the significance of sound beyond our wildest dreams – maybe it keeps the universe from flying apart. Certainly it’s a passion we all share, like a heartbeat.

Sorry for the late post, but there were some technical difficulties earlier today. So who’s ready for another week of their Moombah Monday fix? This week I have a little more Moombahcore than I would have wanted, but how can I turn down a good song. Either way all of these tracks deserve their spot on this post and should all be given a chance.
These first two tracks I couldn’t get a download for, but were too good to be kept hidden.
