2013 has been the year of Snake, turning up dance floors all over the world behind the turn tables, but also with his own productions, and what better way to end the year with an official release of his track with Lil Jon “Turn Down For What” under Columbia Records. Make sure you buy 4 or 5 copies for the holidays, one for your grandma, your girlfriend, your neighbor, and your little sister, and let them know Merry Christmas in style. Baby Jesus would approve, cop this single, save a ho, support twerking.

Electro-House | Krewella – Live For The Night

Posted by on July 8, 2013

Krewella - Live For The NightBy now, you have probably heard Krewella’s latest single “Live For The Night”, the lead single from their debut artist album on Columbia Records coming in the Fall. It has all the makings of being the next “Alive” with an accessible, yet aggressive enough to remain true to Krewella instrumental and catchy lyrics — the ideal fit for a lead single. With the support of a major label and its sound, you can expect to hear this bad boy to have some heavy presence on the radio as the general populace eventually grows tired of “Alive” (it does happen, even if radio can’t seem to get the message).

Preview, Videos | Daft Punk tease “Get Lucky” at Coachella

Daft Punk - Random Access Memories
I know you may be getting a little tired of the Columbia Records driven Daft Punk hype / tease machine that is in full effect right now, but last night at Coachella an artist that did not even perform stole the headlines and the show. All Daft Punk had to do was tease a little more of the track first heard on SNL, bringing in contributions from Niles Rogers, Julian Casablancas of the Strokes and vocals from Pharrell to help complete the picture on this epic track. The unique robotic Daft Punk sound is so great to hear again and combined with the funky riff we have heard countless times, it is sure to be something huge. Listen for yourself and don’t forget to pre-order the album. Updated with SNL Ad clip.
