Unfortunately, you probably wont encounter Dubrocca tracks in the club, but you definitely should. Why? Well because he finds the ideal balance between the original (top 40) vibe and dubstep womps. Consequently, your ears are caught with a familiar sound but are intrigued by the new flavor at the same time. This Jason Derulo remix is a prime example of this equilibrium point. Has this track been reworked, remixed, and recycled just one too many times? Absolutely not. This Cosmic Dawn remix proves that point through a smooth intro that leads right into some club banging meat. This one encompasses just about everything from girl fire to banger throughout the 6 minute timeframe. And for good measure, I’ve thrown in another (less poppy/clubby) take on the original.

Regardless of being a NYU student, you’re cordially invited to “rage” with NYU for their 2011 graduation party. The party will be held at Pranna, a 3 level club on 29th and Madison, one block from the 28th street 6 Station. Kap Slap along with DJ John Hamilton, Reef of Fortune Family, and a few others will all be performing. Party starts at 10pm, tickets will be sold at the door…there isn’t a better way to celebrate summer/graduation than this!
