Progressive House | Ivan Gough, Walden & Jebu ft. Penelope Austin – Home
Posted by Middy on December 14, 2013
It is no secret, the Australians have been churning out talented producers at a remarkable clip lately. Three of them, Ivan Gough, Walden & Jebu have come together on this melodic, barn stormer that features the piercing female vocals of fellow Aussie singer, Penelope Austin. The Stephan Dabruck remix fits it for the current festival climate down under.

Drum & Bass, Preview | Phuture Doom – Nightfall EP
Posted by Mach on June 24, 2013
OWSLA’s mysterious, Phuture Doom, is at it again. It sounds like a fantastic Drum & Bass tune, but considering the length of the clip, it could be anything. Though the clip is short, I am really excited from what I’ve heard. The video is trippy, so be ready for something out of the ordinary. The song will be a part of Phuture Doom’s upcoming “Nightfall” EP. No official release date yet.
Dubstep, Preview | PADU – Kings
Posted by Mach on June 22, 2013
A few weeks I came across Padu’s Soundcloud and ended up listening to almost everything he made. Padu makes some of the most incredible melodies consistently, and this new clip of his is another great example of the work that he does. “Kings” is just a clip, but I have high hopes that Padu will come through with this gem some time soon.
Drum & Bass, Hip-Hop, Preview | Rusty K – Freakuency

Speaking of Neuro-hop, Drum & Bass producer owned face with this insane Neuro-hop clip. The intro is very different from what we have been hearing from other tracks in this sub-genre, best part is, so is the drop. My mind was blown instantly at the drop, it is one of the dirtiest things I have ever heard. You can sure I will be waiting day by day for this original to release.

With the full court press being put on by Columbia hyping up this album all over the web and all over the world, putting up posters and slowly releasing small bits of relatively inconsequential information about Daft Punk’s 4th artist album, we can finally say we are the stretch run of the release. There are no names for any of the 13 songs, but you have the lengths of each of the tracks. Electro-House | Fedde le Grand & Sultan + Ned Shepard – Long Way From Home
Posted by Middy on March 18, 2013
In the lead up to Ultra, Fedde le Grand & Sultan & Ned Shepard did a 2 week bus tour across the US, “On The Road To Ultra” and this collab of their’s was the anthem. “Long Way From Home” is a rework of RL Burnside’s 1978 blues tune “Poor Boy A Long Way From Home“, keeping the catchy guitar riffs and vocals of the original and adds their own electronic spin on it with grungy, distorted electro and punchy bass lines. You may have caught Fedde play this during the first 15 minutes of his set at Ultra, so do not hesitate to grab this unofficial anthem below. Updated with official video clip.

Dubstep, Preview | Alvin Risk – SKYCLAD
Posted by Mach on February 25, 2013
It is about time Alvin Risk had a good release. I am so sick of hearing sick new tracks in his live sets and then when he makes a release it’s one of the worst things I have ever heard. Sadly the official preview leaves out the most important part of the track that helps a person decide if they like it or not, the drop. Don’t be sad for long because I happened to find a little clip ripped from a mix that plays out what we want to hear. It is because of this that I have finally come to the conclusion that Alvin Risk still has it, he just needs to start making more releases to prove it. “Skyclad” releases March 5th on OWSLA.
