Progressive house lovers, I have a treat for you and it comes from Modern Machines with their big room epic remix of Christina Perri’s “Human.” This absolute banger could be the original mix, and still be a hit on its own. Better yet, those boys better hold on to on that production and maybe release it with all original vocals? Food for thought. Every so often an artist comes along that needs to be paid attention to, regardless of their genre. Boston-based singer/songwriter Adam Jensen, who has been feature on FNT before (HERE), is one of those artists.
His debut EP “Head on a String” showcases his phenomenal voice and ability to master so many sounds. All five (5) songs on the EP were written by Jensen, except “Lost Without You” which he co-wrote with Rob Thomas (Matchbox 20) and Nashville radio DJ, Dave Harris. “Lost Without You” was produced by Grammy Award nominee Aaron Johnson (The Fray). “Monsters” was produced by Barrett Yeretsian, best known for producing Christina Perri’s multi-platinum selling single “Jar of Hearts” and is absolutely on the same level. Adam then teamed up to co-produce with the former Boston Music Award “Producer of the Year” winner, Benny Grotto, on “Cannonball” and “Redemption Man” and Boston-based producer Taylor Barefoot on “Dead Man Walking.”
The EP is now available on iTunes and is a must buy for any music fan. Talent is talent. Currently it is at #9 on the singer/songwriter charts and climbing.
