Electro | Chris Varvaro’s “Meant That” A Strong Continuation Of A Familiar Sound

Posted by on February 25, 2020

“Meant That” is a refreshing change of pace as harder sounds seem to take over more parts of the dance music public conscienceness. Embracing light trap accents with a soft synth and gentle vocal experience, the single easily pushes you through catchy arrangement as Mallory and Varvaro show their creative energy.

“I  wrote “Meant That” about my ex who I met in Israel summer 2018. We literally went one week never being apart after we met, and then I had to fly back to the USA.  We made plans to meet in New York city (that ultimately never came true). The lyrics say “made plans to meet up in Central Park, hoping that it comes true” I did have a hard time falling asleep – after we said goodbye and I flew back to Nashville with the lyrics “don’t like to sleep, if you’re not by my side.” I really had a hard time being apart after we left, I was so in love and suffered once I returned not knowing when we’d see each other again, or how to make a long-distance relationship work.”

– Davis Mallory

Collectively Chris Varvaro and David Mallory have collectively garnered multi-millions of plays, dozens of track-support moments from A-list acts, produced records for top 40-artists, and much more. The force of these two together means the sky is the limit with this one.

Posted by on February 22, 2019

It’s hard to find the right words to categorize the atmosphere, theme, and message that “Broken (feat. Sky Roses)” bestows on the first listen. The single envelopes elements of a pop track with several influences in between – sprinkled high-hats, electric guitar, heavy-overarching percussion all finding their way in into the fluid nature of this track. The single delivering a more meaningful spirit no just through the vocal verses here but just as much through the drama that surrounds the listener via instrumentation. The track delivers a trending sentimental sound that feels very original, minus alot of noise you may find in other tracks.

With a background in drumming as a young child before focusing his time on DAW software, Chris Varvaro has always had in inkling for music all his life. This only expanded as he grew old and took on an artist career of his own. His musical voyage has gained him support from Disruptor Records, Young Bombs, Two Friends, STMPD Records, Owen Norton and more on remixes as well as tackling a direct support slot for Vicetone in Philadelphia. Chris Varvaro is growing and his list of industry recognition moments joins alongside, he’s one worth watching in 2019.
