Hip-Hop | SD – Overdose (ft. RiFF RaFF)
Posted by dshaq on November 28, 2013
The last time GBE and RiFF RAFF got on a track together, it was for Chief Keef and Jody Highroller’s “Cuz My Gear”, which was an instant classic. Now we have one of Chief Keef’s best buddies doing a song with Mr. Highroller. Overdose is a trap banger in which both SD and RiFF RAFF profess their love to all assortments of drugs in the song. Laugh all you want but I think RiFF RAFF killed his verse and for SD…we’ll just forget his part. Peep the WSHH player above and prepare to either laugh, shake your head in disbelief, and or both.
Hip-Hop, Rap | GoldLink – They Don’t Like Me
Posted by admin on July 24, 2013
Over the past few months we’ve seen music take numerous cities by storm. First, Seattle’s movement lead by Macklemore, followed soon by a Chicago campaign spearheaded by Chance the Rapper and Chief Keef. Now bloggers and fans wait anxiously, all in hopes that their hometown is the next to take over. I, admittedly, am one of those bloggers. However, I know the DMV is next to pop where as most other people are just hoping.
Today I bring you “They Don’t Like Me” the newest song from Virginia resident, GoldLink. Although I can be quick to place an artist in a box with similar sounding acts, I can’t quite put my finger on GoldLink’s sound. His delivery and cadence control is that of a rap veteran, with each line punctuating the Skywlkr beat with force.
“They Don’t Like Me” is just a taste of what this kid can do, so stay tuned for some of the full-length tracks that he’s got coming, because from what I’ve heard it won’t be long before GoldLink is a name that will be popping up on a regular basis.

Compilation | Dshaq’s Top Ten of 2012
Posted by dshaq on January 3, 2013
I keep finding it harder and harder to believe that a new year is upon us. To put it in lay man’s terms, 2012 was a pretty dope year. Just to name a few examples, we saw:
1) Chicago Rap take over
2) The emergence of new rappers into the game such as Joey Bada$$, Chief Keef, and Trinidad Jame$.
3) Anything Kanye touches is automatically amazing
The year proved to broaden my musical taste and allow me to venture into different genres. So without further ado, I present my top ten tracks of 2012. Enjoy. READ ON >>
Hip-Hop | Huey Mack ft. Jon Kilmer – Hate Being Sober On My Birthday (Chief Keef Remix)
Posted by LoffyG on December 17, 2012
After buying out the bar with only a fake ID, Huey Mack is finally of legal drinking age. In celebration he dropped this birthday rendition of Chief Keef’s “I Hate Being Sober”. To assist him on the track is Jon Kilmer, but not with the visuals, a verse. I got a good laugh out of this and you shouldn’t take this song too serious as it was made jokingly, probably after a few adult beverages. Expect to see a video coming for this song in the near future. Happy Birthday Huey!
