Dubstep, Preview | Detzky – I Like Cereal
Posted by Mach on February 3, 2013
I love all the Cartoon Network samples used in this track, brings me back to the days of watching Dexters Lab, Johnny Bravo, and of course Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends. I’m sure Detzky had a lot of fun using these samples. The track is a Dubplate, which means the chance of it ever release is very slim, but it is still worth a listen for the nostalgia.
Hip-Hop | The Notorious BIG – Back To Cali (Yinyues Remix)
Posted by Mach on January 18, 2013
The last of three new Biggie remixes from Yinyues, one of his best for sure. Third time I will say this, I really love the piano blended with the Hip-Hop. It just works too well. I would consider myself a big fan of Mr. B.I.G. but I was never a fan of “Back To Cali.” After listening to this remix I can say that it definitely had to do with the original instrumentals because this is awesome. If you hadn’t the chance to check out Yinyues’ other remixes of one of Hip-Hop’s legends, I have provided them below this new remix.

Events, Hip-Hop, Rap, Videos | Chance the Rapper – Secret Chicago Show (Video)
Posted by J_Salzer on January 3, 2013
Chance? The Rapper? Yes, ladies and gentleman. Chance, the rapper. He’s here, and he’s here to stay. Chance had arguably one of the biggest years of anyone in the hip-hop game, and he will certainly do big things in 2013. Chance surprised his Twitter followers by announcing that he would be having a show 24 hours from then, and his Twitter followers responded by giving him the opportunity to perform in front of yet another sold out crowd. Only big things coming in 2013 for Mr. Bennett. Check out the video above and be on the look out for Acid Rap dropping sometime in the not so distant future.

Jump on this new SoMo Sunday courtesy of your girlfriend’s favorite singer, Joseph SoMo. This week, SoMo flips one of Ginuwine’s most seductive songs, and makes it MORE seductive, if that’s even possible. On the eve of Christmas Eve, there is nothing I’d rather listen to as I prepare for my favorite night of the year. Make sure you check out SoMo’s twitter and retweet the video to be entered for a chance to win the full mp3 version. Fresh New Tracks wishes you all a happy holidays and enjoy the latest offering of Joseph SoMo
Dubstep | Two Fingers – Vengeance Rhythm (KOAN Sound Remix)
Posted by Mach on December 10, 2012
When ever I wait for a track I really like, it always feels like forever. Two Fingers (aka Amon Tobin) sets a high standard, I mean the 40 year old is a legend in cinematic music, if you have ever the chance to hear his most recent work on “Sucker Punch.” It was a little surprising to see he chose a young duo like KOAN Sound to do a remix for him, but once you hit play you forget what it was you were thinking about. Not KOAN Sound’s usually bass funk style, but damn, it will rock your socks.
