The sweet bass dessert “Cake” featuring Born I hit the web today as a free download and this is something you’re going to want to get – or, at least add to your streaming playlists. “Cake” takes a head-on approach to the bassy, vocal anthem by imploring catchy grooves and even catchier lyrics thanks to Born I. Don’t be surprised when you hear this one being played out by the boys themselves at festivals like Spring Awakening or by other artists across the world.

South Africa has some great artists coming out of its cities, but Haezer is someone who is really holding it down in the electronic scene. His techno/electro crossovers are some of the most solid underground club tracks that dance music has seen in a while. His newest fits more the electro style, but he enlists emcee Born I to turn things up with a hot verse that adds a whole other dimension to the track. For all the industry people who wear “all black everything” this song is made for you. Rap and dance music have been steadily put together more and more over the past year, but Haezer and Born I have just set a high bar for anything coming out in the future. Because of its unique and surprisingly catchy sound, this one is well worth its purchase price.
