Who says you can’t relax to dubstep? These first two tracks are somewhere in between “ambient” and the “melodic” dubstep I normally post. Be sure to cop the Blackmill remix before all of your friends! And for good measure I threw in a heavier track that remixes Basshunters massive hit, “All I Ever Wanted”. Our die hard bass heads should definitely give that one a listen, but don’t complain if it makes your ears bleed.

Well I popped my TurnTable.FM virginity tonight and I’ve got to admit, it felt better than I thought it would. The official room for FNT is “FreshNewTracks.com (Official Room)” (linked). I expect to see all you avid followers throwing down filthy beats while spinning in there. Since the room was dominated by Dubstep tonight, I’ve put together a post with some of the highlights. Consistency in this industry is pretty damn hard to come by, but I have to say that the second I saw Cascada and DJs From Mars in the same song title I knew it was a complete hit. This combination of big time vocals from electro-princess Casada, and the production mastery of DJs From Mars is practically cheating…it’s a hit every time.

Talk about a lay up right here. The original( produced by the Cataracts) lacked one key element, a rapper. Although Flo-Rida isn’t my go to artist, he did a solid job here. Not a surprise since he’s a force to be reckoned with when it comes to party tracks.

Electro | Sheldon Scott- Part Time Lover x Love Me

Sheldon Scott is perhaps the most slept on artist in the blogosphere. He doesn’t have a Twitter or a Facebook page. You think I’m kidding? Google him for yourself. Despite the fact that he doesn’t exist online and he’s a complete enigma, he has a knack for making hits. Sheldon recently sent these two cuts over exclusively that were submitted to Timbaland for his upcoming “Shock Value III” project. If you’re an artist in the pop/electronic genre that’s looking to improve on your songwriting ability, I’d study Sheldon Scott closely. Sorry, I don’t have the cliff notes version. Somebody needs to sign this guy already.
