The vocals remind me of a Blackmill track, perhaps. This track is so relaxing it will take your mind on a journey. “Watching” is a chill, but fast paced track by Elliot Berger from the Discover Music Today “Relaunch” album featuring music from many artists to showcase EDM talent. Elliot Berger’s original song is mellow while still keeping a faster tempo. Think along the lines of Phaeleh or Blackmill perhaps. Chill music is not Elliot Berger’s usual style, so it’s interesting to see him branch out. “Watching” is free to download if you’re diggin’ it!

While I’m currently going through a seriously grimy DnB phase, I’m still a huge sucker for melodic, lyrical dubstep and it’s pretty much no secret. Adventure Club? Done. Blackmill? Yes please. Accordingly, I was very excited to come across “I Need You” this afternoon, as Rameses B absolutely nails the romantic side of the genre. The wistful, breathless vocals, raindrop-esque synths, and lush chord progressions make this beautiful track a must listen. “I Need You” is available for purchase on UK iTunes (chafey.) and some website I’ve never heard of called “Juno” that…well, at least looks legit. As promised last week, Blackmill’s new album Miracle has now arrived. After a thorough hearing, the result is an alleviating dubstep experience. No track in particular sticks out as any better than another making for an all-inclusive, well produced project. This chill-melodic style of dubstep is right up my alley. Sure, I can dig a heavy track but there’s also a time and place for tracks like this masterpiece from Blackmill. Keep an eye on this guy, he’s definitely on the up and up.

Who says you can’t relax to dubstep? These first two tracks are somewhere in between “ambient” and the “melodic” dubstep I normally post. Be sure to cop the Blackmill remix before all of your friends! And for good measure I threw in a heavier track that remixes Basshunters massive hit, “All I Ever Wanted”. Our die hard bass heads should definitely give that one a listen, but don’t complain if it makes your ears bleed.
