Gryffin has been the mastermind behind some of the year’s best remixes, including his take on Troye Sivan’s “Youth” and CHVRHCES’ “Clearest Blue,” but with summer fast approaching, he’s joined forces with Manila Killa on a stunning take of Jack Garratt’s “Surprise Yourself” that we’ll be bumping for the rest of the year. This remix is signature Gryffin infused with trademark Manila Killa, as Jack Garratt’s infectious croons are bolstered by soaring synth arpeggios and a bumping bassline. Gallant’s recently released single, “Weight In Gold,” has become one of this summer’s anthems. The LA-based R&B artist has a voice that is so unbelievably clean and smooth that it just lends itself perfectly to being remixed, and nearly every producer who could get their hands on “Weight In Gold” has delivered their own take on the track. One of the best remixes of “Weight In Gold” comes courtesy of Louis Futon, who infuses the track with his trademark futuristic style. Glitched out synths and rumblings bass lines perfectly complement Gallant’s soaring vocals and only further emphasize the stunning downtempo style of the remix. You can check it out above.

This remix of Bon Iver’s “Perth” is one of the best remixes of 2013, hands down, and I’m surprised as to why it’s not all over the blogs at the moment. A description of this record wouldn’t do it justice, you’re going to have to experience this record on your own. Fwdslxsh (forward-slash) has had the key to my R&B soul for months now. After W8 introduced me to his great music, I have made note to check everything he puts out. This is just one of his new previews and it is one of the best remixes of Miguel I have heard. The instrumentals make this track, the vocals don’t even matter. No word on the release of this track yet, but I highly recommend following Fwdslxsh.

Stanton Warriors are one of the most epic, classic Drum & Bass duos. They don’t try to dip too much into the heavy styling like Noisia and Spor, nor the liquid styling like Spectrasoul and Lomax & BCee. With classic kicks and snare, Stanton Warriors made this remix a deep Drum & Bass tune. Using some heavy yet smooth bass, this is one of the best remixes they have made. Simple yet elegant.

One of the best remixes to a Black Eyed Pea’s track I have heard in a while. Unfortunately I hate to do this to you guys, but the vocals version is yet to be released. Personally I feel the instrumental is just as good, so I’m going to share that with you guys.

Gemini and Minnesota are two of my favorite dubstep artists. Minnesota’s tracks are always insanely creative and Gemini is just an ‘artist.’ Not sure how I missed it, but Gemini dropped this track a few weeks back. The beat is a bit repetitive, but incredible. He seems to put a lot of emphasis on the vocals, which is why I believe he made the beat that way.

This Deathstar and Minnesota collaberation is awesome. I will agree that the Adele remixes are getting old, but I think this one is worth the listen.

This last track has to be one of the best remixes of “4 Minutes” I have heard. Love and Light basically came out of nowhere and started dropping bombs. They didn’t even use the chorus part of the original track, but that’s why it’s so good.
