As promised last week, the second part of Dash Berlin’s music video series with his two singles “Better Half Of Me” & “World Falls Apart”. This Trance Tuesday has a strong progressive house influence, but these are big name artists with Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Jochen Miller, Nitrous Oxide’s remix of Above & Beyond’s “Formula Rossa” and others all contributing massive stuff recently. There are also some more traditional trance gems as well later in the post. Armin creates this more progressive house remix of Kirsty’s “Twilight” for Zouk Records, with some amazing female vocals, a well constructed guitar lead and pulsing synth chords. Get it on BEATPORT.
The trance legend, Paul van Dyk is getting ready to release his 6th artist album “Evolution” on April 3rd and just gave out a single for free to help promote the album. It is more of a progressive house type of a track, which could show a direction of the album, but I don’t think it is just because it features Austin Leeds, who is known for his progressive house. Paul van Dyk feat. Austin Leeds – Verano
Jochen Miller teams up with Rank 1 to create this massive track with outstanding vocals from Sarah Bettens. Smooth melodic synths and a steady bassline mark this song with the perfect accompaniment of female vocals. Get it on BEATPORT.

This song from Ummet Ozcan starts out as what you would think would be a pretty standard trance build with a few piano motifs thrown in, but at around the 3 minute mark the song changes character rather drastically and drops into an uplifting progressive tune led by piano and light synths. Nitrous Oxide puts their own spin on this amazing single from the potent trance trio, Above & Beyond. The Polish trance producer keeps much of the original structure to the song, but adds a different feel to the bassline and a little more to the melody. Get it on BEATPORT. Progressive House | Adrian Lux feat. Lune – Fire

Adrian Lux with the help of Lune has finally released this massive progressive house track onto the world after playing this out for the better part of a year. Lune provides sublime vocals for this euphoric track from the young Swede most known for his massive single “Teenage Crime” that was then remixed by Henrik B and Axwell and turned into a worldwide anthem. Sensitive guitar melodies start this one off and lead into a steady bass line and a melodic synth breakdown to die for. Adrian Lux is the man, he pounds brews like it is his job at shows so support him and get this song on Beatport, iTunes or DjTunes (320s cheaper than Beatport). Also look out for his debut album on Ultra Records set to release April 5th.

Dannic, formerly known as the Dj Funkadelic, is back on Hardwell led Revealed Records to provide us with this funky, grungy house tune. It is lready supported by some of the best in the business, so do not overlook this gem from Dannic on Revealed Records. Get it on BEATPORT.

John Dalhback put together the Toolroom Records Compilation that combines all sorts of tech, deep, progressive and electro house releases from the illustrious Toolroom Records, new and old, into one 40 song compilation. John Dalhback released himself 3 several songs in the compilation as he was the mixer and 3 of them are new. One was a more techy release and the other two are more progressive sounding. “Escape” is the superior cut of the two with its sweeping synth cords and incredibly smooth melodies, though the other two are quite good as well. The other two can be found with the rest of the compilation, a worthwhile purchase or at least worth looking at on BEATPORT.

Coming off of his widely supported single with Manuel De La Mar “Acid As 303”, Alex Kenji, takes a different route this time from Acid House to a more contemporary, mellow progressive house track. This track relies heavily on string instruments with a heavy dose of claps and thumping bass in the drop with an oscillating synth texture underneath. Get this on BEATPORT.

Never forget Acid House. A quote that is said time and time again about this genre that always seems to come up in studio productions from artists you would never expect and is always a weapon in a live set. With his multiple collaborations with David Guetta being set for release soon and his ID with Avicii making waves around the web without even having a name, the young Dutchman is ready to increase his already impressive studio output to epic proportions. Generation 303 is an acid fueled track with an impressive bass line with a ton of energy that is meant to be played in the live venue. Expect to hear this quite a bit out from other Djs. Starting off 2012 hot with his remix of Swedish House Mafia & Knife Party’s massive collaboration “Antidote”, as well his highly successful single “Cascade”, Tommy Trash now delivers another another remix of one of Steve Aoki’s singles featuring Wynter Gordan off of his recently released album “Wonderland“. Tommy Trash takes this song and adds his typical grungy electro house style to it that has become so popular with fans and other artists alike. He does keep much of the original structure and song in tact, but gives it more teeth for a more club friendly feel. Expect to hear this being supported out by many established Djs. Tommy Trash is touring North America now for the first time ever and will be at UMF so get your tickets.
