Events | Spotify’s Miami Music Week Events Cannot Be Missed
Posted by Tay on March 10, 2016
Many of us know Spotify as the giant streaming service that delivers music straight to our phones or laptops without any hassle, but the Swedish company, more specifically its electroNOW division, has teamed up with Proximity and District to throw two special Miami Music Week parties that you don’t want to miss. The first of the two is taking place on March 18th at the National hotel, and it features a slew of all-star artists like Audien, Ghastly, ATTLAS, and more, in addition to secret back-to-back sets all day long. The second of the two events promises to bring a heavy dose of vibes, as artists like EDX, Two Friends, and Above & Beyond will be taking over the 1Hotel on March 19th for the Spotify x District party. Check out the poster above for the full lineup.
Progressive House | Who Is Cignature?
Posted by APM on October 1, 2015
If you’re on Soundcloud as often as I am, you’ve definitely heard of Cignature. After Audien tweeted then recently deleted “everyone should have their own Cignature” the internet has been abuzz with the rumors of Audien being Cignature – but they’ve been saying that for a while! So who is he? She? I have a few theories of my own but I’ll let you listen to Cignature’s newest remix – a beautifully melodic progressive house take on Ryn Weaver’s “OctaHate” – and decide for yourself.
Melodic Progressive | Unknown Sideproject “Cignature” Drops Incredible Remix
Posted by Juicebox on August 6, 2015
A couple months back a side project known as “Cigntaure” popped up out of nowhere with an amazing remix of “Some Nights.” The remix is now in rotation on Sirius XM’s BPM, featured on Proximity, and has hundreds of thousands of plays in no time. Many have suggested that this side project is no other than Audien which we have to agree with based on the level of production and the sound. Cignature comes to us today with his take on Ember Island’s cover of “Where Are U Now,” snag the free download below!

Progressive House | What big artist is behind the side project “Cignature” ?

Who is X_______? We’ve seen a lot of people guessing that it’s Audien, but that wouldn’t make much sense as it’s basically the same progressive house style Audien produces. Not to be punny here, but this remix has a very feel good vibe and is just ‘fun’ to listen to. What we do know, is that this is the only remix on the internet with the official studio acapella and this remix is too good to be any other artist’s first release…any guesses?

Progressive House, Trance | Lush & Simon, Uforik – Hydrogen
Posted by Middy on October 22, 2014
Originally a “Demo Of The Week” on Hardwell on Air 153 called “Air” from Uforik, “Hydrogen” has now been repackaged with the skilled help of progressive starlets Lush & Simon. A global collab, bringing together Chinese newcomer Uforik and Italians Lush & Simon, this tune has the airy sound of its namesake. Sounding very similar to something from Audien’s back catalog, the blend of trance and progressive makes this tune a very easy-going, soothing progressive track that flows through the ears. Grab the tune now on Beatport courtesy of Doorn Records.

Events | Electric Zoo Announces Phase 2 Lineup
Posted by Middy on May 28, 2014
Phase 1 brought headliners like Kaskade, Alesso, Armin van Buuren, Sasha and Jack U to Randall’s Island over Labor Day weekend, but now Phase 2 adds another 60 names to the mix to help fill out the increasingly stacked lineup for Electric Zoo this year. It has been well-documented the increased security measures that E Zoo will have this year, shortening the festival by two hours and adding a lot more on site law enforcement and medical personnel among others. Hopefully though, we will be able to focus on the music and not on all of the headline grabbing things that have beleaguered electronic music this time around, so be smart and read on for the lineup additions which includes names like Jamie XX, Ame, Audien, What So Not and many more. Go on grab tickets, including single day passes if you fancy one day more then the rest.
