Events | Support Announced for North American Leg of Swedish House Mafia One Last Tour

Time has flown by since Swedish House Mafia announced up and final world tour. They have already rocked Europe, South East Asia, are now in South Africa and in a few short days take over Australia, the site where “Don’t You Worry Child” was born. In a little under 2 weeks they will be making their landfall in Mexico and with them they are bringing along some great talent as support for each of the shows. They will be joined by the likes of Otto Knows, Armand Van Helden, AN21 & Max Vangeli, Pete Tong & more. Get ready for their final send off, because it is going to be wild. They have also announced another auction for the Black Tie Rave on February 28th, which raised 447,000 dollars the first time around. Dave Silcox brings Armand Van Helden’s 90’s classic “You Don’t Know Me” into 2012 with a brilliant modern rework of the single that I dare say is better than the original. Keeping the original groove in the breaks, Dave Silcox gives his rendition a hard and bouncy electro bassline drop with subtle inserts and chopped up vocals. This should definitely bring the nineties classic new life for the dancefloors of today.

I know this is not the first time I have posted this artist, but this is his offical introduction. His name is Bailey Small, calling himself Thick As Thieves. He is 19, from Miami, FL and goes to NYU. After growing up with Bailey on Martha’s Vineyard before he moved, I honestly would have never expected him to excel in music production as he does now. He is currently affiliated with one of Warner Brother’s sub-labels and releasing remixes on Camel Rider Records. If you are from Miami look for him this summer, he is being supported by big clubs including David Berrie, Armand Van Helden, Todd Terry, and Spinning Arkadia. The track below is his newest, and unbelievably amazing.

Girls from California rarely bore me so it’s fitting that this song doesn’t either. Like your ideal CA chick, this track is constantly being made over and outfitted with new smoking-hot attire. I’m not going to lie, finding a version thats sexier than the ones posted below will be extremely tough. Both the B.I.G x Katy Perry and the 80’s disco sounding Armand Van Helden versions are FILTHY.
