Hip-Hop | HIP-HOP | Jamie Foxx, Khalifa, and Shaggy

Here’s the official music video for Dr. Dre’s hit “Kush” which is rumored to be a cut off of his upcoming album, Detox. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, Dre is on the up and up. I’m confident that the album is going to be dope. The only doubt in my mind concerns the actual release date. In 2009 he claimed it would be out in 2010, now he’s saying we’ll see it in 2011. Lets just pray we end up seeing it during our lifetime.

Hip-Hop, Videos | Will 50 Survive This Rap Game?
Posted by BIGLIFE on November 10, 2010
50 Cent fell off the map after his multiplatinum album “Get Rich Or Die Trying”. His follow up projects lacked the clean and deep thug bumping beats found in songs like “Many Men”, “If I Can’t”, and “Wanksta”. GR or DT worked for 50 because he kept it simple and collaborated rap fathers like Nate Dogg, Dre, Snoop, etc. Perhaps his lack of recent success can be credited to the fact that these names are basically non existent. Instead 50’s producing garbage because he’s stuck working with RnB artists like Bobby V, who recently hopped on a track called “Altered Ego” (posted below).
Fortunately, all is not lost because 50’s taking a new approach with his new album. According to the interview posted above, 50 will be hand-picking artists to hop on his tracks rather than doing “forced” collabs in the studio. Hopefully this will result in some more “authentic” sounding 50 songs. His upcoming album, which is a follow-up to 2009’s flop “Before I Self Destruct”, will be 50’s fifth solo release. More importantly, it’ll fulfill his obligation to the Shady/Aftermath label which will offer him some additional creative freedom in the years to come.

If you watched the “Carter” documentary, you know that people have been waiting on this track below for quite some time.
Lil Wayne – 30 Minutes to New Orleans
This will be making the album as a bonus track. Thoughts?
Kanye West- Never See Me Again
This if for all the “Barbies” out there.
Nicki Minaj- Blow Your Mind
If you watched Kanye’s masterpiece, they may sound familiar. I wish I could play the MPC and then have a beautiful bird woman dance at the same time.
Kanye West- Power (Remix)
This is the long awaited final mastered version.
Kid Cudi- Mr. Rager (Mastered)
From their upcoming album, “Nothing”. In other news, T.I. will not be charged in his recent drug arrest although it violated the terms of his probation.
N.E.R.D. ft. T.I.- Party People
Hip-Hop | Kanye West ft. Kinetics & One Love & Pusha T-Runaway
Posted by Juicebox on October 22, 2010

Starting every Friday, Kinetics & One Love will be releasing a track from their new project entitled, “Cross-Fading Back To Normal”. “Cross-Fading Back To Normal” will be a mashup album of “fading back to normal” cuts remixed with some of your favorite pop songs. As a bonus, I added last week’s “Sign Language” + radio interview if you somehow missed it. Since this is a Fresh New Tracks world premiere, we’d like to make a toast to all the douche bags.
Electro | Black Eyed Peas- Dirty Bit (The Time)

Hip-Hop, Reggae | Rock City- No Days Off (Mixtape)
Posted by Juicebox on October 21, 2010

I can’t complain, it’s just raining Rock City tracks today. If you’re not familiar with these brothers from the Virgin Islands, they are signed to Konvict Music and are in my opinion the most underrated duo in hip-hop right now. Although their single, “Losing It” didn’t result in an album being released, Akon recently said on his Twitter that a new Rock City single would be coming out this year. The tracks above are from their highly anticipated “No Days Off” mixtape hosted by Don Cannon dropping in the near future. Until they album comes out, it’s still PTFAO!
